Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Operates straight or articulated rubber-tired tractor-type vehicle equipped with front-mounted hydraulically powered bucket or scoop to lift and transport demolition & MSW materials from storage to load staged roll off containers.
Performs routine maintenance on loader, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
Operates skid steer loader with multiple attachments and would perform multiple exchanges to facilitate different processes.
Perform lot cleaning by removing debris manually and with equipment.
Perform snow removal with each snow event along with salting and sanding to ensure a safe work environment.
Direct customers to the proper location by material for offloading.
Assist customers with unloading material when needed.
Communicates with subcontractor to schedule delivery of material to disposal location.
Perform facility and stormwater inspections with site manager.
Education
HS Diploma/G.E.D.
Experience and Competencies

Purpose The purpose of this classification under general supervision is to operate a wide variety of heavy trucks and complex automotive equipment and/or machinery. Employees in this classification operate all other trucks equipment and/or machinery as directed. Drug Screening

Education; Training and Experience

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for being the lead person of an operations team for assigned projects. Performing or directing performance of the inspecting, maintenance, control process and rail loading operations. Responsible for supervising and participating in the safe, efficient loading and unloading of raw sugar. This role supervises equipmentoperators, coordinates daily operations with management and ensures compliance with all facility, safety and maintenance standards. The Lead also assists with hands-on equipmentoperation, coordination with rail crews and maintaining high operational standards within the terminal.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise, train and evaluate yard personnel to ensure safe and efficient equipmentoperation.
Coordinate daily operations, maintenance, and scheduling with management and other shifts.
Safely and efficiently coordinate and operate facility equipment, including but not limited JD 644J, 744J, 824J, 300D and/or TS9972 vehicles and other ancillary site equipment as needed.
Responsible for coordinating and conducting daily pre-operational inspections and completion of equipment logbooks while documenting any equipment malfunctions or unsafe conditions and reporting same to the Site Manager Area Director(?) for follow up.
Required to coordinate and maintain records of operation of facility equipment including, but not limited to, daily operating data and abnormal conditions, while reporting same to Area Director.
Develop and maintain daily accurate records of loads, material movement and maintenance activities.
Manage employee schedules, approve timecards and report weekly operational updates.
Perform general assignments as necessary to ensure the safe, clean and efficient operation of the area.
Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public
Comply with all DOT, state, local and in-house regulations, procedures, and rules
Operate truck/equipment in a safe manner at all times
Perform, manage material charging, discharging, loading, unloading, and timely delivery of material to assigned/approved destination
Travel from job site to job site or plant to job site. May involve overnight travel
Review plant priorities as situations arise

Hours: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm (30 minute lunch); overtime is required. This is an on-call position.

Work closely with Heavy EquipmentOperator Lead, yard personnel and dispatch to coordinate loading/unloading schedules.
