I’ve talked with other employees and it’s been confirmed that brown-skinned drivers make $3-4 dollars less an hour even if they have more driving experience!
I’ve seen countless situations where non-white drivers have larger routes that take 2-3 hours longer while white drivers are given shorter routes. Plus, I’ve witnessed white drivers be promoted to positions or allowed to drive certain types of trucks (roll off and front load) even though brown-skinned drivers have the experience or that’s the position they were hired for. I’ve talked with other employees and it’s been confirmed that brown-skinned drivers make $3-4 dollars less an hour even if they have more driving experience!
