ARC continues to provide traditional support to military families; serve in military and veterans hospitals, and conduct emergency communication. But, we also continually adapt our traditional services and create new programs to meet the needs of today's military member, veterans and their families. The SAF-IS Regional Program Specialist assists in the delivery of American Red Cross programs and services to meet the needs of United States military members, veterans and their families in accordance with Red Cross policies and procedures. One focus will be on supporting the delivery of International Services (IS) U.S. programs and services to include International Humanitarian Law (IHL), Youth Action Campaign (YAC) and Restoring Family Links (RFL). Wage/Salary: 28.50 per hour In this position, the employee will be responsible for managing the janitorial client services for the various client sites served. This employee will handle contract negotiations, compliance, and account management and must have skills related to contract development, negotiations, comparative pricing, cost-preparing project budgets, budget analysis, time studies, work task analysis, start-up, and customer relations. Essential Job Functions Janitorial: Oversee and work with staff to ensure that facilities are maintained in a neat and orderly condition. Coordinate janitorial services and train staff and individuals in the processes, procedures, and the use of janitorial supplies as applicable. Manage the proper execution of all safety. Contract Management: Oversee the day-to-day management and operation of Ability One contracts. Maintain contact and positive communications with Contract Supervisor and Government Representatives, as required, to ensure the work is being performed per contract specifications and to keep them informed of any special problems or schedule changes. Supervise, schedule, and evaluate the performances of direct reports. Complete and maintain all MVLE-required training and uphold MVLE's policies and procedures. Supervision: Supervise custodial staff in the basic level of cleaning and maintenance required to maintain three facilities. Ensure satisfactory completion of all custodial work. A combination of education and experience will be considered. Three to five years experience in progressively responsible experience within the janitorial maintenance sector is required.
