About the Opportunity The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Support Office (ESO) has an immediate opening for an AI Deployment Specialist - ERP Systems. ESO is seeking an experienced AI Specialist to join our team of technical experts responsible for delivering ERP - HR, finance and procurement business solutions through the use of ERP technology. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advancing AI powered ERP solutions for the Federal Reserve. The AI Deployment Specialist will be responsible for integrating AI technologies into existing ERP systems and workflows to optimize productivity and performance and exploring and deploying new Gen AI and Agentic AI functionality to address novel business problems identified by business line partners. This role will be pivotal in promoting AI fluency across the organization and equipping ESO team members with frameworks, tooling and best practices for evaluating, deploying and managing AI capabilities and features within ERP systems and platforms such as Workday and SAP. What You Will Do: * Collaborate with architects, product teams and developers to enable next-gen AI capabilities within ERP platforms and products, including AI agents and assistants. * Design, build, release and operationalize AI solutions and new technologies to deliver HR, finance, and procurement features and capabilities. * Integrate predictive, generative, and prescriptive AI models and ERP platform features into enterprise processes for decision support and efficiency gains. * Define technical specifications for deploying AI solutions and capabilities. * Leverage strong business acumen to translate business and operational challenges into practical AI opportunities and solutions. * Lead AI projects, from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and transparency on ROI. * Increase AI literacy and maturity within the organization through training, mentoring and experimentation. * Create and mature frameworks, playbooks, and best practices for effective AI tool usage and AI feature deployment for ERP. * Research and stay abreast of ERP vendor roadmaps and broader trends in AI and automation tools. * Evolve the ERP AI technology roadmap, define objectives and key results, and track delivery achievements across multiple workstreams. Qualifications: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. * 5 to 9+ years of relevant work experience, including working with automation platforms, cloud technologies, IT infrastructure, and/or leading software development initiatives. * 2+ years of experience creating or deploying AI agents and/or deploying GenAI or AI-powered solutions or capabilities required * Strong technical literacy in AI/ML, with the ability to evaluate data pipelines, model strategies, and infrastructure at a high level. * Proficiency with data analysis and visualization. * Knowledge of AI governance frameworks, compliance standards, and PII risk mitigation. Preferred Qualifications: * Familiarity or experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their AI services and RESTful APIs. * Strong understanding of application programming, database, and system design. * Familiarity with HR, finance or procurement product domains or technical solutions. * Demonstrated effectiveness in collaborating and influencing without authority in cross functional organizations. * Ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders. * Self-starter with the ability to manage competing priorities and operate with greater independence. * Experience supporting Workday, SAP Ariba, or other enterprise ERP platforms. * Proficiency in Python and familiarity with other programming languages such as Java, Scala, or R. * Experience in data analytics, engineering or BI roles with exposure to LLMs and enterprise automation tools. * Experience in a Software Development environment. * Industry certifications in AI/ML are a plus.
