For the summer of 2026, we are offering a paid research internship for a graduate student currently in their 2nd or 3rd-year of a PhD program in economics. The Intern will work with staff economists exploring a quantitative project that combines a frictional labor market within a heterogenous agents New Keynesian (HANK) model.In addition, the model will analyze the effects of various fiscal and unemployment policies and examine the outcomes underdifferent typesof aggregate shocks. Qualifications Graduatestudent in economics. Strong academic record with 2-3 years of graduate education preferred. Experience in working with quantitative economic models, ideally with HANK models featuring an endogenous income process via an explicit modeling of the labor market.
