Feeding America is a non-profit nationwide network of hunger-relief food banks. It provides food to more than 37 million people through 61,000 food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters in communities across America. Feeding America also supports programs that improve food security among people; educates the public about the problem of hunger; and advocates for legislation that protects people from going hungry. Pros of working at Feeding America

The proud feeling you get that you are truly helping the less fortunate.

Cons of working at Feeding America

The abusive behavior of the CEO. She belittled many employees in front of other employees. Having to watch her park her Porsche in front of the building everyday was just one narcissistic that took place daily. Low pay for the hours worked.

What do you like best about Feeding America's CEO and the leadership team?

The CEO knew how to talk people and companies into giving large donations.

How would you improve Feeding America's culture?

I would make sure that leadership was trained better and more personable.

I prepared by reading up on Feeding Americans mission and by reading annual reports.

How does your compensation at Feeding America compare to the industry average?

In my position at The Treasure Coast Food Bank my positions salary was far below the industry standard.

What's the diversity at Feeding America like?

The culture was relatively diverse with the exception that the CEO made sure as to surround herself with mostly females. She did not like having male employees and she let everyone know it.

What brings you the most joy at Feeding America?

Once again, I enjoyed the feeling I would get at every food distribution. Seeing the joy in the less fortunate knowing they would have food to eat was second to none.
