The proud feeling you get that you are truly helping the less fortunate.
The abusive behavior of the CEO. She belittled many employees in front of other employees. Having to watch her park her Porsche in front of the building everyday was just one narcissistic that took place daily. Low pay for the hours worked.
Knowing the less fortunate benefited from your hard work.
The CEO knew how to talk people and companies into giving large donations.
I would make sure that leadership was trained better and more personable.
I prepared by reading up on Feeding Americans mission and by reading annual reports.
In my position at The Treasure Coast Food Bank my positions salary was far below the industry standard.
The culture was relatively diverse with the exception that the CEO made sure as to surround herself with mostly females. She did not like having male employees and she let everyone know it.
Once again, I enjoyed the feeling I would get at every food distribution. Seeing the joy in the less fortunate knowing they would have food to eat was second to none.
