ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Purchasing
Purchase all lines as needed.
Responsible for approximately 1,500 stock items from approximately 120-125 vendors.
Forecast sales volume to maximize inventory turns.
Category Strategy
Work with Category Specialists to develop strategies for new items and items needed due to:
Assess their product and category strategies and develop solutions to improve performance.
Evaluate vendor performance, quality, and costs.
Choose the best suppliers for the category's products.
Manage Inventory
Monitors inventory levels, procures additional stock, and develops strategies for working with sales, brokers, marketing, and manufacturers to get rid of excess or unwanted inventory.
Helps to optimize warehouse storage for products.
Creates regular reports on product availability.
Monitor Performance
Assess their product and category strategies and develop solutions to improve performance.
Handle Vendor Contracts
Evaluates vendor performance, quality, and costs.
Choose the best suppliers for the category's products.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Must have strong decision-making.
Must have a basic understanding of the product life cycle and how to turn their product ideas into goods that are efficiently made available or delivered to customers.

**Description** + Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming shipment. Record the correct count and pallet type for input upon completion of the PO. + Record shipment data into computer system, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and record-keeping purposes. Ensure rapid equipment return to serviceability by performing thorough in-depth troubleshooting on any non-functioning or faulted system, subsystem or component.

Remove and replace controls components, reload parameters for PLC product lines, and other like components, such as server based controls or industrial PCs
