Our Legal Administrative Assistants play a vital role on our case teams and are respected for their ideas and contributions. This position will be a hybrid role with remote and in-office days.
Position Responsibilities
As a Legal Administrative Assistant/Legal Secretary, you will assist attorneys and paralegals in the organization with documents and workflow necessary for the smooth running of the firm.
Preparing and proofing legal documents and correspondence
Filing documents in state and federal courts
Preparing and maintaining charts with hyperlinks for documents
Preparing binders for attorneys and judges
Creating and saving documents and emails to a document management system (iManage) in accordance with firm policy
Calendaring legal due dates in CompuLaw
Maintaining attorneys calendars, scheduling meetings and other calendar commitments
Making travel arrangements and processing expense reports
Processing monthly client disbursements
Organizing and maintaining case files

What you will do -
We have an opportunity for an Associate Litigation Attorney with litigation experience who is interested in joining our Warranty Defense team in our San Jose, Costa Mesa, San Diego or Torrance, CA locations!
You'll be a vital member of our team, with hands-on responsibility for day-to-day case development-including handling depositions, engaging directly with clients, collaborating with technical experts, managing critical discovery tasks , writing and arguing motions, managing critical discovery tasks, and working with partners through trial . You'll also play a key role in supporting partners on strategic litigation planning, all the way through trial preparation and execution.

Who you are -
Basic Qualifications:
JD from accredited law school
Active California Bar admission
1+ years of litigation experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in warranty defense preferred
Understanding of current state and federal procedures
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
Desire to work closely with others in a team-oriented environment
