Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Research, Scholarship, and Library, the Archival Fellow will arrange, describe, and digitize the Dr. Francis V. O'Connor Research Collection. Gifted to Crystal Bridges by O'Connor, the collection comprises approximately 40 linear feet of artist files, manuscripts, correspondence, project files, and printed material that pertain to O'Connor's research and publications on Jackson Pollock and the Federal Arts Project of the Works Progress Administration. An additional 15 linear feet of O'Connor's personal papers complete the collection.
This position is a full-time, fully on-site, one-year terminal position open to recent MLIS graduates and early career archival professionals.
Principal Responsibilities:
Research, assess, and arrange the Dr. Francis V. O'Connor Research Collection
Physically stabilize and perform basic preservation of materials through rehousing, re-foldering, and encapsulation
Digitize records and curate digital records in SharePoint
Create and edit finding aids and digital exhibits/directories in ArchivEra
Supervise archival interns and volunteers
Assist staff, researchers, and museum guests with reference and use requests
Participate on department, division, and museum-wide working groups and committees
Perform related duties as assigned by the Director of Library and Archives
Qualifications and Skills:
MLIS degree from an accredited program or commensurate education, training, and experience
One year of experience arranging, describing, and preserving archival collections
Familiarity with DACS and such item-level metadata standards as CCO and Dublin Core
Knowledge of preservation and conservation issues for a variety of materials, including paper, photographs, and textiles
Basic understanding of the digitization of analog formats and digital preservation standards
Demonstrated planning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with superior verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to research historical subjects
Strong organizational and project management skills, including attention to detail and deadlines

Summary of Job Duties:The Postdoctoral Fellow position is a full-time provisional position with the COSMOS Research Center (cosmos.ualr.edu) at the University of Arkansas Little Rock, and is funded through a grant or contract. The Postdoctoral Fellow will develop socio-computational models to advance our understanding of cyber campaigns run on social media grounded in the dynamics of various social and communication processes such as group formation, activation, decentralized decision-making, and collective action. Leveraging cyber forensics and deep web search-based methodologies, the postdoctoral fellow will help extract relevant open-source information in a guided snowball data collection manner. Postdoctoral Fellow will work with the research team in developing predictive models of various socio-technical behaviors on different social media platforms (including, multimedia-rich platforms), usable tools/software to identify key actors and key groups responsible for coordinating cyber campaigns and disseminating propaganda. This is an on-campus position and will report to: Dr. Nitin Agarwal (******************), Maulden-Entergy Endowed Chair and Distinguished Professor and Director, COSMOS Research Center, UA-Little Rock. Required Education and/or Experience:
The candidate must have a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related discipline;
The candidate should have at least one year research experience in social media mining, computational modeling of social science theories, working with social network analysis tools, and examining cyber campaigns conducted on social media.

Summary of Job Duties:The Postdoctoral Fellow will continue investigation of cancer nerve crosstalk in both breast cancer and pancreatic cancer. Reporting to the Director of Research, Scholarship, and Library, the Archival Fellow will arrange, describe, and digitize the Dr. Francis V. O'Connor Research Collection. Gifted to Crystal Bridges by O'Connor, the collection comprises approximately 40 linear feet of artist files, manuscripts, correspondence, project files, and printed material that pertain to O'Connor's research and publications on Jackson Pollock and the Federal Arts Project of the Works Progress Administration. An additional 15 linear feet of O'Connor's personal papers complete the collection.
This position is a full-time, fully on-site, one-year terminal position open to recent MLIS graduates and early career archival professionals.
Principal Responsibilities:

Physically stabilize and perform basic preservation of materials through rehousing, re-foldering, and encapsulation

Summary of Job Duties:The Food Systems and Food Safety Postdoctoral Associate is a full-time position (40 hrs/week) in the Department of Horticulture. This individual will serve as a project leader and collaborate with Dr. Amanda Philyaw Perez on the Local, Regional, and Safe Foods Team. The successful candidate will provide outreach, education, and technical assistance to Arkansas farms and food businesses, community stakeholders, and county extension agents regarding food safety regulation, practices, audits/inspections, value-added product development, and supply-chain coordination, while also supporting broader food systems development initiatives.
This position will play a key role in strengthening resilient food systems infrastructure across Arkansas by supporting local food supply chain coordination, value-added processing, and home-based food business startup efforts. The Post Doc will assist in developing and implementing training and technical assistance for stakeholders working across the food value chain, with an emphasis on small and beginning farms and food businesses and expanding access to local and regional markets.
Job Duties:
• Coordinate and host food safety and food system workshops.
• Lead implementation of project goals and objectives, including day-to-day operations, coordination with agencies, and reporting.
• Support development of resilient food systems infrastructure through technical assistance and stakeholder engagement.
• Provide guidance and resources for local food supply chain coordination and value-added product development.
• Assist entrepreneurs in navigating regulations and launching home-based food businesses under food freedom frameworks.
• Conduct applied research to understand client needs, practices, challenges, and knowledge gain.
• Prepare proposals for regional and national conferences related to food safety and food systems.
• Contribute to the development of Southern Center add-on curricula for produce safety and value-added startup (e.g., commodity-specific or production-type-specific training).
• Support current grants focused on food freedom and cottage food safety, fruit and vegetable value-added product development, and FSMA Produce Safety Rule grower training.
• Develop educational materials, web content, promotional materials, and press releases.
• Conduct survey research with clientele and prepare papers for scientific conferences and publication.
• Monitor program implementation, assist collaborators and county agents, and coordinate team activities.
• Assist in managing the Local, Regional, and Safe Foods Team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data management, and email programs.
• Strong technical competence in food safety, pathogens affecting produce and manufactured foods, and specialty crop production.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in Food Science, Food Microbiology, Public Health, Food Safety, Horticulture, or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to independently manage programs.
Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
On-farm or field experience with specialty crop growers or food manufacturing.
Understanding of current issues in the specialty crop industry and food safety.
Certifications in FSMA Produce Safety Rule or Preventive Controls for Human Food.
Experience in grants management and writing.
Proven track record in curriculum development, publications, presentations, and digital outreach.
Note: This position is grant-funded and continued employment is contingent upon securing future funding.

About the position: Arkana Laboratories is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Renal Pathology Fellow to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Renal Pathology Fellow, you will train to be a qualified renal pathologist under the pathology staff in accordance with the recognized professional standard of care and the bylaws of Company.
What you'll do:
Be involved, as requested, in sign out of renal biopsy cases, including: complete review of clinical history, light microscopy, immunofluorescence and electron microscopy, complete dictation of all the components of the report, responsibility of ordering any stains/tests deemed appropriate and follow-up
Participate in conferences and presentations, as a participant or presenter, as requested, including: daily case review conferences, CPC conferences in regional hospitals, online conferences, and journal club presentation
Be involved in a research project that may lead to participation in a major renal pathology meeting (such as USCAP), and/or result in a publication in a medical journal
Communicate and conduct oneself in a professional manner with respect towards all other team members of Arkana Laboratories, and well as patients, outside visitors and clients
Maintain professional conduct in a way not to infringe any Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments ("CLIA") and College of American Pathologists ("CAP") requirements
