    Summary\- The 6\-month social work fellowship provides an opportunity for fellows to gain hands\-on experience and develop essential skills in social work and public health. Under the supervision of experienced social workers, you will provide direct services to clients, participate in case management and contribute to community outreach initiatives in the Indianapolis Metropolitan area. Program Highlights\- The Focus, Lead and Collaboration Community Outreach Fellow will provides a learning environment onsite a neighborhood community center for recent graduate Social Workers an Public Health workers to work alongside processionals and external community partners to address the complex needs of individuals and families in the Northwest and Northcentral Indianapolis area, including part of Pike and Washington township residents. Upon Completion of Program Fellows will gain experience in hands\-on outreach activities within the community including being part of a mobile case management unit that provides services to Northwest and Northcentral Indianapolis areas including parts of Pike and Washington Township area residents. Fellows will gain experience in conducting intake assessments, developing individualized care plans, and providing ongoing case management support to clients. Fellow will gain experience developing a sustainability plan in order to capture the program's short and long\-term success and outcomes. Fellows will gain leadership skills through opportunities to lead community initiatives, coordinate outreach activities, and collaborate with internal and external teams. Fellows will receive mentorship and supervision from experienced social workers and public health professionals to enhance their skills, knowledge, and competencies in the field. Responsibilities Assist in conducting intake interviews and assessments to evaluate clients' needs, strengths, and challenges. Collaborate with licensed social workers and other members of the interdisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to client's goals and objectives. Provide direct support and counseling to clients, including individual and group sessions, to address emotional, behavioral, and social issues. Manage the day\-to\-day operations of the mobile program, which encompasses a range of activities such as coordinating job fairs, developing presentations, and scheduling events, etc. Assist clients in accessing community resources, such as housing, healthcare, employment and educational opportunities, by providing referrals and coordinating services. Advocate for clients' rights and access to services by engaging with relevant agencies, organizations and community stakeholders. Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and service plans in accordance with agency policies and procedures. Participate in case conferences, team meetings and supervision sessions to review cases, discuss challenges, and receive feedback on performance. Adhere to ethical standards and professional guidelines. Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including training sessions, workshops and seminars to enhance knowledge and skills in the field of social work. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications Bachelor of Social Work or Public Health recent graduates; organization would consider individuals seeking a bachelor's degree in social work or public health field. Knowledge of social work theories, principles and practices related to human behavior, development and social systems is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with diverse populations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively document client interactions and communicate with colleagues and stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and independently with minimal supervision.     The Department of Chemistry consists of a well-rounded research community with cutting-edge expertise in a wide variety of modern disciplines including analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, materials chemistry, and biochemistry. The Zaleski Lab in the Department of Chemistry at Indiana University is accepting applications for a postdoctoral research position. The position involves the design and synthesis of hybrid molecular and nanomaterial catalysts (see here for recent work: Accts. Chem. Res. 2019 , 52 , 1957. The desired start date is July 1, 2025, although this is flexible in order to accommodate the needs of outstanding candidates. The successful applicant will use a deep understanding of synthetic inorganic and organic ligand chemistry, as well as molecule preparation and purification. Nanomaterial design to develop systems for catalysis is a plus but not required. Motivated applicants with a Ph.D. in any area of chemistry will be considered. A candidate with a strong background in solution-phase synthetic preparations and characterizations, as well as familiarity manipulating air- and moisture-sensitive chemicals, is ideally suited for the project. We seek to employ someone with demonstrable experience in chemical purification and characterization of starting materials and reaction products by standard techniques ( NMR , IR, Mass spectrometry, X-ray diffraction, TEM , and DFT calculations etc.). The Zaleski Lab is a dynamic multidisciplinary laboratory environment. This involves small scale project management and coordinating multiple aspects of work to meet deadlines. 2. Adapt existing, and develop new, scientific techniques and experimental protocols to achieve research objectives. 3. Use specialist scientific equipment in a laboratory environment. 3. Assist in setting up a new research laboratory at IU (e.g. setting up Schlenk lines, ordering equipment etc.) 4. Contribute ideas for new research projects. 5. Undertake comprehensive and systematic literature reviews and write up the results for publication in peer-reviewed journals. 6. Collaborate in the preparation of scientific reports and journal articles and occasionally present papers and posters. 8. Act as a source of information and advice to other members of the group on scientific protocols and experimental techniques. 9. Represent the research group at external meetings/seminars, either with other members of the group or alone. 10. Carry out collaborative projects with colleagues in partner institutions, and research groups.
