In this role, you will serve as the Social Work Fellow for one TEP cohort (Kindergarten through 8th Grade), then will move up with this cohort of students throughout their time at TEP until they graduate! I can connect with people, very young, and see the fruits of the work last for years and years." - TEP Social Worker Responsibilities Clinical Counseling Services Provide regular counseling to students and families in need of social and emotional support; this includes both mandated counseling to students with IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) as well as individual and group counseling to other students in need Lead mediations as necessary, using relational-based models within your social work practice, in alignment with TEP's commitment to Restorative Justice Practices Respond to day-to-day crises and collaborate with the school community to create a safe and supportive environment for all students Design and implement creative clinical interventions for students with repeated instances of similar challenges Mental Health Programming Develop and lead programs for students and families to promote emotional, mental, and psycho-social health Build strong relationships with families to facilitate a collaborative approach to student support, and coordinate the delivery of mental health and family services at community organizations for students and families requiring outside social services About You (Qualifications) Language Proficiency: Complete fluency in Spanish required Deeply aligned to TEP's mission of providing a world-class mental health services and social work interventions to historically under-resourced student communities (90% of TEP students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, 22% of TEP students receive Special Education services, and 25% of TEP students are Multi-Lingual Learners). Social Work experience: Minimum of two (2) years of clinical social work experience working with children and families, with a preference for individuals who have worked within a school setting. The ability to design and implement in-school prevention programming according to current best practices within the field of social work. Slutsky Philanthropy Fellow This Fellowship is named for the third President of The Trust and endowed through contributions from Trust donors, board, staff, and other foundations. This Fellow will be housed in the General Counsel's office but will work with other Trust departments. The Fellow will focus on significant issues affecting community foundations and the philanthropic sector (e.g., proposed changes in donor-advised fund rules, trends in philanthropy, assisting with collaborative funds, etc.). The Fellow will support Trust staff in specific administrative, programmatic, donor, and legal projects and work closely with other Fellows. Requirements FELLOWSHIP ELIGIBILITY AND DETAILS Applicants must be a student in a full-time graduate program. Typically, applicants are candidates for the following degrees: MA, MS, MPH, MPA, MPP, MSW, MEd, JD. Applicants must have existing authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. POSITION DESCRIPTION Program Fellow (3 Positions available) The Trust seeks three Program Fellows to work with The Trust's New York City grantmaking staff (program directors) on The Trust's competitive grants program that supports efforts to advance healthy lives, promising futures, and thriving communities. Specifically, Trust grantmaking covers the following areas: Accessibility; Animal Welfare; Arts, Culture, & Historic Preservation; Civic Affairs; Community Development; Environment; Gender Equity; Health, Behavioral Health, and Biomedical Research; Human Justice; Human Services; Jobs and Workforce Development; Older Adults; Social Work Practice; Technical Assistance; and Youth Development. Each Program Fellow will be assigned, based on their topics of study, experience, and interest, to work with grantmaking staff responsible for several of these areas. The Fellows will review and summarize grantee reports, attend site visits, collaborate in writing grant recommendations, and assist with other grantmaking activities. The Fellows will work directly with teams of three to four program staff, and indirectly with donor and communications/marketing staff. Requirements FELLOWSHIP ELIGIBILITY AND DETAILS Applicants must be a student in a full-time graduate program. Typically, applicants are candidates for the following degrees: MA, MS, MPH, MPA, MPP, MSW, MEd, JD. Applicants must have existing authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. This is a temporary and time-limited Fellowship. Fellows start on Monday, June 1, 2026. The Fellowship ends in May 2027. Fellows must commit to the entire period. Fellows must remain enrolled as full-time graduate students for the entire duration of the Fellowship. Fellows' field of graduate study must match an aspect of the Fellowship. Fellowships are intended as learning experiences to complement Fellows' graduate study. This is not an entry-level position at The Trust or intended to lead to one. RESPONSIBILITIES The three Program Fellows will be exposed to all areas of The Trust's competitive grantmaking: proposal review, grant investigation and analysis, site visits (virtual, if appropriate), writing grant recommendations, and reviewing reports. A major responsibility is monitoring grantee performance and writing of interim and final progress reports. Candidates must have strong writing skills; a background in one or more of the focus areas of The Trust's competitive grants; an ability to communicate orally and in writing with nonprofit and/or grantee staff and leadership; the capacity to work independently and in a timely manner; and the ability to function within a professional office environment. Fellows work under the supervision of program directors for each area. COMPENSATION Fellowships pay is $25 an hour. The position is on-site at our New York office, and we provide several remote options (holiday remote week, August remote month, monthly remote days, etc.). Fellows are eligible for paid federal holidays and state-mandated safe/sick leave. Fellows also receive pay for the week when The Trust is closed (August 31 to September 4 2026). The Fellowships start on Monday, June 1, 2026. Fellows work up to 35 hours a week from June 2026 through August 2026 and, to accommodate class schedules, 15 to 20 hours a week between September 2026 to May 2027. Led by members of MoMA's curatorial team and constituted of MoMA staff members from across curatorial affairs departments, the C-MAP Southeast & East Asia group is constituted of MoMA staff members from across curatorial and curatorial affairs departments, the C-MAP Southeast & East Asia group will continue its current focus on Southeast & East Asia and its diasporas, including (but not limited to), Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Following the direction of the group leader, and in consultation with the International Program Department, the Fellow will plan, coordinate, and document a program of monthly group meetings at MoMA (in-person or virtual as needed) featuring scholars, artists and curators, as well as travel for C-MAP group members to the region of focus. The Fellow also collaborates actively with other C-MAP Fellows and International Program staff on organizing cross-group seminars as well as editing and maintaining the C-MAP website, post (post.moma.org). In consultation with their supervisors, the Fellow will also have an opportunity to develop and undertake research related to the region of focus. The Museum of Modern Art is committed to nurturing the next generation of scholars, art historians, and other arts professionals. This fellowship is part of a distinctive museum wide fellowship program that offers opportunities for training and development through immersion in the Museum's departments, working alongside and mentored by experienced staff members. All fellows also participate in a core methods and practice program with MoMA staff and invited guests which explores object-based research and inquiry; public engagement in a museum context; and arts leadership and the role of cultural institutions. Additional responsibilities include: Coordinates with the C-MAP group leader and the International Program's Assistant Director and C-MAP Program Coordinator on the implementation of a research plan and on a program of visiting speakers to be presented either virtually or on-site at MoMA. Identifies artists, curators, and scholars relevant to the research focus. Plans and prepares for monthly C-MAP group meetings, including compiling relevant research materials, biographies, and meeting agendas in advance of visits; corresponds with invited speakers; and maintains records of contacts and activities. Plans and coordinates travel of C-MAP group members, involving detailed itineraries for visits to cultural institutions, artists' studios, collections, etc., books flights, and coordinates transportation, hotels, dinners, and meetings, etc. Assists with the organization of and participates in joint programming, such as seminars, at MoMA organized with the other C-MAP groups. Works closely with the International Program's Assistant Director and C-MAP Program Coordinator, other C-MAP Fellows, and a cross-departmental advisory board to commission texts and oversee content development for post, C-MAP's online research platform (post.moma.org). With C-MAP Program Coordinator and International Program Department Coordinator and Assistant Director, helps prepare reports on C-MAP group activities for funders. Researches and keeps C-MAP group members informed about relevant exhibitions and events related to the group's area of focus. Supports other Museum research activities related to C-MAP group focus, as needed. Performs any other duties reasonably related to the functions described above. Requirements: Specialized knowledge of modern and contemporary art in Southeast and East Asia. Master's degree in art history, cultural studies, and/or a related field in the humanities (or the equivalent in countries outside the United States) required. Candidate must be a fully-enrolled student pursuing a Ph.D. program. Candidate must be ABD. Independent researchers and curators with a strong expertise and proven experience in the area of focus could also be considered. Strong knowledge of 20th- and 21st-century art history within a global context and specific knowledge of transnational art history and contemporary practices in Southeast and East Asia. Deep familiarity with key artistic centers and networks in Southeast and East Asia. Written and spoken fluency in English. One or more languages spoken in the region (including, but not limited to Vietnamese, Khmer, Thai, Bahasa, Filipino) preferred. Demonstrated research, writing, and editing capabilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to successfully work as part of a team. Prior experience working within an art institution strongly preferred.
