Essential Functions:

c. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to create educational materials and resources that showcase CW as a hub for democracy education.

The Collegiate School Fellows' Program is a one- to two-year teaching fellowship that is designed for early-career teachers and career-switchers who plan to pursue a career in education. We welcome applicants interested in teaching any grade level from JK-12 and in coaching Grades 7-12. Qualified candidates must demonstrate a sustained interest in children; possess college- or graduate-level coursework in their subject area and a track record of academic excellence; and have demonstrable experience in co-curricular areas such as sports and clubs.

Program Details:
The program offers a thorough introduction to a career in education. Each year, we hire a small cohort of fellows. Each fellow shares a classroom with a mentor teacher in their department or grade level. Fellows also contribute to or participate in School activities such as advisory meetings, clubs, sports, and performances, and they attend relevant School events such as faculty meetings, assemblies, and professional development days. France-Merrick Fellows (FMFs) are expected to be leaders in connecting MICA students to communities both through the work that they do and the dialogues they lead. France-Merrick Fellows act as mentors to Community Site Leaders (CSLs), and provide recommendations to MICA's Community Art & Service Program and the MOSAIC Center for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion on the ways to best support socially- engaged art and artists in the Baltimore community. FMFs leverage the resources available to them as MICA students to empower those elsewhere in the community.
Both MICA Undergraduates and Graduate students are eligible to be FMFs during an academic program year. In order to apply, an Undergraduate student must serve as a Community Site Leader for a minimum of two semesters at MICA in order to qualify to be a France-Merrick Fellow. MICA Graduate students must have worked as a CSL for a minimum of two semesters, OR demonstrate through their resume - at least 1 year of experience working in art education, community engagement/organizing, or public art or 2 years of consistent community service.
FMF Responsibilities:
FMFs are responsible for supporting partnerships coordinated by CAS staff.
Commit to a two-semester experience (one academic year).
Commit to 100 - 120 hours of work per semester (about 6-8 hours per week).
Attend France-Merrick Fellow training in FULL, held in August and January.
Assist with office representation at open houses and information sessions, as well as recruitment sessions.
Attend bi-weekly meetings with their supervisor, Associate Director of Community Arts & Service.
Communicate difficulties at their site to their supervisor on a timely basis, within one business day for critical issues or one week for more routine matters.
Participate in the monthly France-Merrick Fellow cohort meetings.
Reserve 3 hours weekly to prepare lessons/activities for their site work. These will be self-guided but take place in the Center for Student Engagement or the MOSAIC Center for Diversity, Equity, and Community, and occasionally will be used for special projects that will be communicated by CAS staff.
Serve as a Mentor to assigned CSLs through both in-person and electronic methods.
Assist in implementing the end-of-the-year exhibition & festival, featuring their projects.
Provide written reports on their project at the conclusion of the academic year, outline
accomplishments, and plan moving forward at the end of the academic year.
Be available to meet with Funders/MICA Development and present on/speak to work taking place with your community site, when requested.
Track your budget usage and total expenditures related to supplies and professional

The postdoctoral scholar will work with Professor Zhaohuan Zhu to carry out Hydrodynamic, MHD, Radiation-MHD simulations, or simulations with simple chemistry on the inner protoplanetary disks and study various processes during planet formation. Chief Objective of Position
The University Fellow will support Christopher Newport University (CNU) by welcoming, orienting, transitioning and engaging new students to CNU. The Chief Engineer may be called upon to act as design authority: generate technical alternatives; lead design issue resolution; conduct manufacturability, constructability, and maintainability reviews; evaluate application of new technology and IP generation to benefit product development/project implementation; address operations and fielded product performance issues; review/approve technical changes to a product or program baseline; and other issues to ensure the above-mentioned goals are met.
Job Profile Tasks/Responsibilities:
Working with Program Management, the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Procurement/Supply Chain (PSC), and Engineering, lead and/or support resolution of supply chain issues, including the manufacturing of unique or difficult-to-procure SSCs or extremely long-lead items. Evaluate alternative suppliers, critique manufacturing techniques and/or recommended manufacturer/ supplier expansion strategies to improve project delivery schedules are achievable and low risk. As the program/project Solution Architect, monitor, analyze, validate, and confirm that the plant architecture, technical solutions, and implementation plans developed by the X-energy's program teams, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other departments are consistent with sound nuclear engineering practice, are efficient, deliver manufacturable, constructable, operable, and maintainable systems, and achieve project goals and requirements. This is performed through design reviews, audits, tiger teams, inspections, independent analyses, and other means.
As Design Authority, ensure technical adequacy and design control for the project. This includes critiquing and reviewing requirements, technical arbitration for engineering disputes, implementing and maintaining configuration control, and concurrence of high-level methodology.
Chair design reviews, ensure proper implementation of the X-energy Systems Engineering Management Plan and related engineering policies/procedures, evaluate engineered solutions against 1) requirements allocated to the solution, 2) fidelity of the solution and methods applied, and 3) maturity of the solution given the phase/review being performed. Build the review board composition based on system under review, make recommendations and define corrective actions through issuance of Action Items/Requests for Action (RFAs) to ensure project technical compliance. Validate RFA acceptance, response schedule, and validate incorporation of review board recommendations.
Assist in the conduct of the project Change Control Board (CCB). Evaluate recommended changes, determine and/or independently analyze their impacts on performance and performance margin, soundness of design change, how changes affect project risk. As a precursor to the CCB, conduct evaluation of, or review team evaluations of alternatives to understand the basis for alternative selection, and how the result may compare to the results from alternative methods.
Provide Internal Audit capability for the guarantee of configuration control, methodology and technical solution validity as well as scope, schedule, and budget alignment. Support external audits, from a technical/QA/manufacturability/testability perspective, to ensure vendors and partners possess the capability to perform assigned work and meet quality flow-downs.
Identify technical and/or implementation issues that may threaten X-energy's ability to deliver safe, efficient, manufacturable, constructable, operable, and maintainable project solutions. As appropriate, evaluate risks associated with alternatives; conduct independent analyses to scope, understand, and resolve risks; identify verification methods and recommend alternative techniques/solutions and mock-up development for project incorporation.
As directed, lead critical issue initiatives, tiger/high impact teams, and conduct alternatives assessments to ensure project risk is quantified, addressed, and mitigated. This may include leadership of key evaluations that cannot be addressed by a standalone X-energy organization (e.g., cross-functional, multi-disciplinary design issue) or must be addressed at a higher level of the organization. Drive these evaluation teams to successful issue resolution; document issue resolution through DITs, input to topical reports; define qualification/penalty tests; ensure changes are documented through the change control process.
In support of construction, SSCs under test, or operational systems, lead problem diagnosis and failure analysis; recommend corrective actions and resolution for customers on an as called upon basis for field changes or corrective maintenance. For time-sensitive or critical system builds and/or operations, lead ad-hoc teams to evaluate I&C telemetry data, inspection data, or test failures/non-conformances to determine cause(s) of performance/ operability defects; devise and recommend tests and inspections to verify the veracity of assessments; develop corrective actions, installation/replacement methods/techniques, and penalty/regression tests to verify post-rework quality and performance. Monitor development of non-conformance reports, corrective actions, test reports, and variations to operational procedures based on corrective action implementation.

Recent interns have come from a variety of areas of study, from biology to government, and have been undergraduates, graduate students, and recent graduates. Fall and spring semester interns are often students interning part-time while attending local colleges such as Georgetown University, George Washington University, The Catholic University of America, and the Pontifical John Paul II Institute. Summer semester interns have joined us during their academic breaks from Princeton, U.C. Berkeley, Stanford, Colgate, Samford, and Purdue.
As part of the program at Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, interns have the opportunity to foster their personal and professional growth by participating in various activities in our nation's capitol. These include attending meetings and press conferences with prominent pro-life leaders and members of Congress.
In addition, interns may attend seminars and workshops highlighting the role of government, policy, and related topics in the pro-life movement. They leave these seminars and workshops armed with a new knowledge which they can bring back to their campuses or apply to their professional expertise. Interns also have an opportunity to attend social gatherings to network and connect with other D.C. interns with whom they can share these experiences in our nation's capitol.
Intern Responsibilities
The interns are responsible for a variety of duties at SBA. Their time is partly devoted to assisting in the day-to-day operations of our organization where they are expected to complete typical daily administrative support. They are also involved in larger departmental projects such as political and legislative research, fundraising, and communications.
Requirements
Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America requires interns to be self-starters with good communication skills. They must be able to balance multiple demands and work with shifting priorities and deadlines. As interns, they should be equally comfortable working as part of a team and with minimal supervision.

Eastern State Hospital (ESH) is seeking a postdoctoral fellow for the 2026-2027 training year. ESH is the largest state psychiatric hospital in Virginia and is situated on 500 acres, consisting of two patient care buildings with 300 patients, and a highly skilled staff of over 900. The current hospital population consists of adult and geriatric patients who have either a civil or forensic commitment; however, our population has largely shifted to primarily pre- and post-adjudicatory forensic patients.
Eastern State Hospital is part of the Department of Behavioral Health and Development Services (DBHDS) system, and is accredited by the Joint Commission. The hospital, located in Williamsburg VA, is located near several large cities and beaches, including Richmond, Virginia Beach, Washington DC and Baltimore.
The postdoctoral training year will include both clinical work and didactic seminars. The clinical work will primarily consist of working within the psychology department to:
• Conduct various types of forensic evaluations, including temporary custody evaluations, competence to stand trial, mental state at the time of the offense, and risk assessments for court-ordered defendants.
• Conduct psychological testing, including forensic assessment instruments, IQ and personality testing, neuropsychological instruments, and test of malingering. There may also be opportunity for sex offender risk assessments.
• Serve in other clinical roles (e.g. more treatment oriented) in the hospital, depending on the postdoctoral fellow's interest and training needs.
Treatment at ESH is offered to the patient in partnership with a multi-disciplinary team, and the post-doctoral fellow also has the opportunity to be part of a treatment team alongside physicians, other psychologist, nurses, social workers, dietitians, and activities therapists. Thus, a treatment-oriented role would include:
• Individual and group psychotherapy, psychoeducation, treatment planning and principles of recovery, team building, milieu intervention, risk assessment and management, crisis management and program development.
• Serving in a treatment role for acute admissions and jail-transfer or the large population of “Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity” (NGRI) acquittees.
• Working in a treatment role with NGRI population to assess and treat an individual's level of risk after having been adjudicated NGRI; these individuals are remanded to the hospital for treatment while they move through the privileging and gradual release process under Virginia law.
• Working in a treatment role with acute admissions patients who are individuals under voluntary or involuntary civil commitment, individuals who have been transferred from a jail for emergency psychiatric treatment, and persons who have been court-ordered for evaluation and/or treatment of competency to stand trial and/or mental state at the time of offense.
Within the various clinical roles, the postdoctoral fellow will learn about the larger system of care in Virginia, and may collaborate with team members for appropriate aftercare planning as patients return to the community. In addition to serving in clinical roles, incumbent has the opportunity to participate in research efforts throughout the hospital.
The ESH postdoctoral training program will also include didactic and case law seminars; weekly seminars focusing on various forensic issues - violence risk assessment, assessment of malingering, ethical considerations, psychology in the courtroom, insanity, competence to stand trial, and an overview of the legal system. Postdoctoral fellows will have the opportunity to participate in case weekly law seminar, focusing on landmark cases at both state and federal levels that set standards for the practice of forensic psychology and guidelines for conducting court ordered evaluations; will be expected to present summaries of assigned cases during this seminar.
Postdoctoral fellows will have access to various training throughout the state, including the following program - Basic Forensic Evaluation: Principles and Practices, a five-day course offered by the Institute of Law Psychiatry and Public Policy at the University of Virginia. The course is designed to provide foundational evidence-based training in the principles and practices of forensic evaluation generally and specific to the Code of Virginia.
Postdoctoral fellows will receive individual face-to-face supervision from one or more licensed clinical psychologists. They may also have the opportunity to supervise interns and doctoral-level practicum students from local graduate programs, and Master level counseling practicum and intern student under the guidance and supervision of a licensed clinical psychologist.

Minimum Qualifications
• Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from APA-accredited program required.

• Training and experience in the delivery of forensic psychological evaluation and treatment.
Additional Considerations
• Knowledge of relevant Virginia code and psycho-legal criteria for persons found IST, Sanity at the Time of the Offense, and persons adjudicated NGRI.
• Demonstrated ability to provide consultation and /or training to the behavioral health and legal community.
