    The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Postdoctoral Clinical Scholar to participate in direct, supervised clinical service at the Rothman Center under the supervision of the program director and core program faculty. Provide intervention and assessment services including testing. Provide supervised clinical care for children, adolescent and adults with OCD, Tourette, mood, disruptive behavior and related disorders. Participate in program meetings, supervision and didactics. Provide consolation to psychiatry team and participate in multidisciplinary planning and training. Participate actively in clinical and supervisor roles associated with human subject's research at the Rothman Center. Minimum Qualifications: Graduate from an APA or CPA Accredited PhD or PsyD Program in Health Services Psychology Completion of APA Accredited Clinical Psychology Pre-Doctoral Internship Preferred Qualifications: Predoctoral Internship (see above) with a major area of focus in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology and/or Pediatric Psychology. Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology. DUTIES: TEACHING 2% Fellowship includes presentation/teaching though any of the following: grand rounds, teaching rounds, journal club, didactic series, university or community lectures, assisting faculty with preparation of teaching materials. CLINICAL 95% Participate in direct, supervised clinical service at the Rothman Center under the supervision of Dr. Lewin (program director) and core program faculty (Drs. Horng, Rahman and Wojas). Provide intervention and assessment services including intake evaluations and testing. Provide supervised clinical care for children, adolescent and adults with OCD, Tourette, mood, disruptive behavior and related disorders. Participate in program meetings, supervision and didactics. Provide consolation to psychiatry team, pediatrics, and other USF Health services as needed, and participate in multidisciplinary planning and training. Participate actively in clinical and supervisor roles associated with human subjects research at the Rothman Center. Participate/conduct in telehealth visits. RESEARCH 2% Assist with clinical trials rating, clinical/administrative support with funded research, literature reviews, preparation of presentations/submissions. Opportunities for scholarship such as project design development, data analysis and writing up results for peer-review publication, scientific presentation at national and international meetings based on interest, funding, and availability. OTHER DUTIES 1%: Other duties as assigned.

New College of Florida invites recent Ph.D. recipients (within the last three years) or recipients who anticipate receiving their Ph.D. to apply for appointments as America at 250 Postdoctoral Fellows for the period February 1, 2026 to July 31, 2027 with the possibility of renewal. Appointments will be made through the America at 250 Search Committee drawn from political science faculty within the social sciences division. The location for the appointment is in-person on the campus of New College of Florida. The postdoctoral fellow is expected to be in residence in order to fulfill a range of responsibilities relating to our America at 250 initiative, including events, seminars, presentations, lectures, community engagements, meetings, and office hours. The postdoctoral fellow may not be employed by another institution during the term of appointment. The postdoctoral fellow will be expected to be engaged in research within American politics, political philosophy, constitutional law, American history, public policy, or a related field. Summary Postdoctoral Fellow - Cancer Metabolism Research in the Ward Lab is centered on characterizing how systemic metabolism and nutritional status are transmitted to tumor cells via the microenvironment and how mitochondria integrate these metabolic signals during tumor progression and in response to therapy. Current projects in the lab are focused on how diet and exercise influence the tumor redox state, how substrate availability influences iron-sulfur cluster biosynthesis (Nature Communications, PMID: 38762605), a process critical to maintaining nearly all aspects of cellular function, and how the mitochondrial transhydrogenase (NNT) exerts its' pleiotropic regulation of redox metabolism (JEM, PMID: 32196080). We are recruiting a postdoctoral fellow eager to explore these topics and other aspects of mitochondrial redox metabolism through the implementation of chemoproteomics, metabolomics, and super-resolution microscopy. Position Highlights: * Use of cutting-edge technologies (e.g. in vivo stable isotope tracing, cysteine-based chemoproteomics, and stimulated emission depletion [STED] super-resolution microscopy). * Work as part of the Lung Cancer Center of Excellence, which bridges basic and clinical research. * Work closely with Dr. Ward on the postdoctoral fellow's career development (e.g., grant/manuscript writing, scientific presentations, and networking). * Moffitt integrates excellent patient care with cutting-edge clinical and basic research. Having a cancer hospital on-site provides unique opportunities for translational research. * Outstanding mentorship from expert faculty with wide-ranging funded research programs including T32 Training Grants.
