Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) has an opportunity for an Endovascular Fellow in the division of Cardiology at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.
The Division of Cardiology has had its own fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Medicine for over a decade and is also a major teaching affiliate for Montefiore's Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program. Jacobi is a New York State certified STEMI receiving center with an active PCI program and a mechanical support program including ECMO. Jacobi has outstanding cardiovascular clinical facilities offering a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including coronary and peripheral vascular interventions, pacemaker, ICD and BiV ICD implantation, and cardiac CT / MRI. Jacobi also has had an active Pulmonary Embolism Response Team (PERT) since 2014.
Opportunity Details:
Jacobi Medical Center is offering a 1-year Endovascular fellowship.
Fellowship focuses on arterial and venous disease management using endovascular techniques.
Training also includes:
Percutaneous interventions for acute pulmonary embolism.
Wound management.
Endovenous ablation.
Interventional dialysis access management.
Formal training in vascular ultrasound interpretation.
Training provided by Jacobi's IAC Vascular Testing certified noninvasive lab.
The Jacobi experience is unique given the close collaboration between interventional cardiology and vascular surgery to provide a very comprehensive didactic curriculum and hands on training with both endovascular cardiologists and surgeons.
Qualifications:
Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York
The successful candidate must have a M.D./D.O. or equivalent doctoral degree
Prior completion of Interventional Cardiology fellowship or prior cath lab experience with percutaneous procedures is preferred

One evening a week Fellows learn for forty minutes after school with students. Fellows in graduate school will have some flexibility scheduling classes on one afternoon a week. The Fellows program has a stipend of $30,000.

Summer Policy Internship
The ACLU-NJ seeks a highly motivated college or graduate student for our inaugural Policy Internship. The Policy Intern is a temporary role which requires a 10-week commitment from June through August 2025 at an expected 35 hours per week. The office is on a hybrid work schedule- in the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and remotely on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
The Policy Intern will work closely with the Policy and Legal departments to conduct research, interview New Jersey and National policy leaders, analyze pending state and local legislative or regulatory proposals that impact civil rights and liberties in New Jersey, and develop policy recommendations for key campaigns related to reproductive freedom, economic justice, and immigrants' rights. Funding of up to $6,400 for undergraduate and $7,500 for graduate students is available for the period of the internship. Students who receive outside funding are eligible for a partial stipend to bring their total funding up to the level of the ACLU-NJ's funding amount for that term, if applicable.

Responsibilities
Clinical Counseling Services
Provide regular counseling to students and families in need of social and emotional support; this includes both mandated counseling to students with IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) as well as individual and group counseling to other students in need
Lead mediations as necessary, using relational-based models within your social work practice, in alignment with TEP's commitment to Restorative Justice Practices
Respond to day-to-day crises and collaborate with the school community to create a safe and supportive environment for all students
Design and implement creative clinical interventions for students with repeated instances of similar challenges
Mental Health Programming
Develop and lead programs for students and families to promote emotional, mental, and psycho-social health
Build strong relationships with families to facilitate a collaborative approach to student support, and coordinate the delivery of mental health and family services at community organizations for students and families requiring outside social services
About You (Qualifications)
Language Proficiency: Complete fluency in Spanish required
Deeply aligned to TEP's mission of providing a world-class mental health services and social work interventions to historically under-resourced student communities (90% of TEP students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, 22% of TEP students receive Special Education services, and 25% of TEP students are Multi-Lingual Learners).
Social Work experience: Minimum of two (2) years of clinical social work experience working with children and families, with a preference for individuals who have worked within a school setting.
The ability to design and implement in-school prevention programming according to current best practices within the field of social work. Working knowledge of the instructional and social needs of students with disabilities.
Ability to simultaneously manage a regular counseling schedule and triage crisis, while prioritizing multiple competing urgent tasks
Education requirements: We highly value candidates with a Master's Social Work degree However, we also welcome individuals with degrees in related fields such as School Counseling or School Psychology to apply
Certification requirements: TEP does not require Social Workers to have any specific level of certification/licensing (ie LCSW) outside of the above educational and experience requirements

The Operations department is responsible for all aspects of facilities management for our various sites including the Delacorte Theater, 425 Lafayette Street, rehearsal studios at 440 Lafayette and multiple warehouses.
The Operations Fellow will be exposed to the daily tasks of the Operations Department including administrative functions and systems operations across all sites.
