Campaign Director
Summary:
This position is charged with the authority and responsibility to see that the Europe/AME Campaign vision is developed, managed and successfully funded through vision-donor partnerships.
Essential Duties:
A. Case Development
Ensure the campaign case is complete and includes all key components, especially the budget section and the gift plan.
Invite the Young Life Communications department to bid on case material.
Include a planned giving goal.
Ensure that all presentation tools for funding the campaign flow from the case statement and are personalized to target constituencies (e.g. individuals and families, foundations/corporations, churches, etc.).
Funding Campaign Operations
Ensure that a campaign budget is developed and includes the cost of development, communication and data management and is approved by the Chief Development Officer (CDO).
Include a Development Cost Recovery (DCR) factor of 12% (6.5% for campaign and 5.5% for Development department).
Place any excess revenue for campaign operations in an account for ongoing fund development work at the camp.
B. Campaign Management
Oversee a feasibility study to determine the financial goal for the campaign.
Use Windshield2000™ (WS) to manage the campaign.
Ensure strategies for donors in the software are kept current.
On an ongoing basis, clarify in the software what the next step is, who is responsible, when it will take place and how it will be reported.
Work with the primary caller, field staff and other campaign directors to assess whether donors have other Young Life interests in order to ensure a seamless and coordinated approach with every major donor (15k and up).
Set the timetable for the campaign and the monthly targets to be met to reach the goal.
In terms of accountability for the campaign, decision-making is always the campaign director's (CD) responsibility, and the CDO is responsible for supporting the CD to make sure tasks are completed on time and reported to the appropriate staff and/or volunteers.
D. Ongoing Responsibilities
Develop prospects and when appropriate act as a primary caller or a secondary caller available to participate in donor solicitation meetings.
Participate in the recruiting of the needed committees and volunteer positions. Lead, train, supervise, support, sustain and thank this staff so that they succeed in their work.
A volunteer Executive Committee led by a chair to raise major gifts ($50K and higher)
A Steering Committee of staff and volunteers to guide campaign operations
Plan and carry out all supporting activities for the campaign such as donor events, communications strategies (including communication with appropriate staff), recognition programs and other related activities and materials.
Work with the Director of Gift Planning, along with representatives of the National Christian Foundation, in implementing the gift planning strategy to reach the goal.
Coordinate campaign activities with other Young Life development entities (e.g. area and regional fundraising efforts, other development initiatives, etc.).
Submit the updated database to the CDO monthly.
Submit the updated campaign timetable to the CDO monthly.
Submit the database prospect report to the CDO in June to support the goal for following fiscal year.
Work closely with the executive assistant to the CDO for any assistance and to keep the CDO apprised of all campaign developments and issues in a timely fashion.
Establish the campaign office and systems to support campaign operations.
E. Procedures and Policies
Camp campaigns can take a DCR on in-kind gifts that replace budgeted items; (there is no DCR for the Service Center).

Area Office Administrator ISummary:
This position provides administrative support, enabling the Young Life field ministry area office to function an organized and efficient manner.
Essential Duties:
Written and Verbal Communication
Answer correspondence, do filing and prepare mailings.
Answer phones.
Respond to voicemail, e-mail and phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
Gather articles, pictures, layout, production, mail, etc. for newsletter from area staff.
Create club/event postcards, flyers, and/or maps.

Administration
Process and track donations.

Manage monthly expenses and budgets, including area bank account records, FDT, area and staff expense reports.
Accounting: pay bills, submit bank account records/purchase card expenses and donations and make copies, evaluate financial monthly status and update FDT each month.
5.Maintain contact databases including the following:
Update area donor database on a regular basis.
Enter club card data into kid database.
Update parent database.
Maintain newsletter recipient list.
Create and maintain banquet invitation list.
Update contact in Palm/Outlook.

6.Human Resource for Regional Administrators
Track and report vacation, sick and personal days for eligible area staff.
Submit timesheets for hourly staff.
Complete Personnel Action Requests and required documents to hire or terminate area staff and forward to region for approval.

Off-campus travel includes, but is not limited to: student ministry conferences, Ministry Partnership Development meetings, and InterVarsity- sponsored training sessions, meetings, and conferences. Pay Range: $39,288.00 - $52,392.00 per year

Equip students and faculty so that they think strategically about campus engagement and so that they proclaim - in word, deed, and power - the good news of Jesus, regularly inviting students and faculty to follow him as Savior and Lord
Disciple students and faculty by equipping them to hear the Word, respond actively, and debrief and interpret the experience so that they grow in Christlikeness, reflect our Core Values, and develop ministry skills

Organizational Collaboration
As a Campus Staff Minister, you have joined a national mission. Therefore, you work with a network of other local, area, regional, and national InterVarsity staff and volunteers so that our work reflects Biblical standards of excellence, integrity, and partnership.
Partner with and respond positively to the direction and coaching of your supervisors and national leaders
Contribute to collaborative and productive team meetings and relationships
Affiliate chapters under your care and submit Graduating Student Forms in order to increase our partnership with current students and alumni
Use national ministry resources and tools, as requested, including recruiting and/or participating in local, regional, or national conferences as required
Complete reporting, planning and review requirements in a timely way so that you and your supervisors can assess and improve your work as a CSM
Comply with all InterVarsity policies and procedures
Ministry Partnership Development
As a Campus Staff Minister, you will develop a team of partners - churches and individuals (including alumni and community members) - who will resource the ministry financially, in prayer, or volunteer service that advances the mission.
Raise 100% of the financial budget assigned by your supervisor
Communicate regularly with your ministry partners, nurturing the relationship through visits, phone calls, emails and regular prayer letters
Develop on-going, long-lasting partnership with alumni and volunteers
Comply with all Ministry Partnership Policies
Identify and invest in advocates who will build networks of volunteers and donors on InterVarsity's behalf
Accomplish all other assigned tasks as appropriate
QUALIFICATIONS (common to all levels of CSM)
Annually affirm InterVarsity's Statement of Agreement (Doctrinal Basis and Purpose Statement). Abide by InterVarsity's Code of Conduct. Believe and behave consonantly with InterVarsity's Human Sexuality Theological Paper. Affirm and behave consonantly with InterVarsity's “Women in Ministry Statement of Affirmation”
Bachelor's degree required for CSMs assigned to a four-year campus. A minimum of an Associate's degree required for CSMs assigned to a two-year campus or a community college
Strong interpersonal skills (including ability to minister to diverse ethnic communities and faculty)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Familiarity with word processing, presentation, email, and spreadsheet software
Experience working with nursing students and or a corner ministry, preferably in a planting context
Track record of advocating for NCF and nursing student ministry
Respected in the region, especially regarding nursing student ministry
Basic understanding of the nursing student reality and NCF, with a desire to learn more
Major Responsibilities:
Because each region's context and needs vary, we expect exact responsibilities to change accordingly. Below are several broad areas of responsibility, with examples of how they might be implemented in a specific area/regional context.
Coordinate and support existing ministry, working with local volunteers, student leaders, and local InterVarsity Staff to see sustainable chapters resourced
In partnership with area/regional and NCF leadership, identify potential NCF planting campuses in the region.
Examples:
Each year, identify the top 3 campuses for NCF planting
Create a 2- to 3-year NCF planting roadmap for the region, including identifying critical campuses and the strategies to support them.
Promote NCF in the area/region with students, staff, staff directors, and NCF members/constituents.
Examples:
Host an NCF interest table/luncheon at a regional student conference/camp
Vision-casting phone calls with 2-3 staff in the region who have expressed interest in nursing student ministry
Send a semi-annual e-mail to local NCF members (provided by NCF nationally) to update them on nursing student ministry in the region
Participation in other NCF and Regional programming as requested
Time Commitment:

(One of the unique aspects of NCF is that we are open and flexible regarding the supervision of a coordinator. We have coordinators at the area and regional levels, some supervised by NCF and others by the area or regional director. WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The CSM position leads ministry in a college campus environment. A designated office space may or may not be available. The CSM is required to travel to on-campus and off- campus sites as appropriate. Divisional BookkeeperSummary:

Provide regular feedback and evaluation of ministry staff including annual performance reviews (reviews to be completed in conjunction with the area director)
Administration:
Provide administrative services and financial management that enables ministry staff to do their jobs
Ensure adherence to area, regional and national policies, procedures, reporting requirements and financial guidelines
Provide administrative and spiritual leadership to campus and area events
Fund Development and Public Relations:
Serve as an ambassador of InterVarsity to individual ministry partners and churches, through prayer, discussion of ministry efforts, mission, and accomplishments
Maintain sound financial status of the area through management of budgeting, fund development and expense control
Secure personal financial and prayer support and strategic funds for the area as needed
Cultivate and maintain relationships with alumni as well as current and potential donors
Represent InterVarsity within the broader Christian community
QUALIFICATIONS
Annually affirm InterVarsity's Statement of Agreement (Doctrinal Basis and Purpose Statement). Abide by InterVarsity's Code of Conduct. Believe and behave consonantly with InterVarsity's Human Sexuality Theological Paper. Affirm and behave consonantly with InterVarsity's “Women in Ministry Statement of Affirmation”
Ongoing call to InterVarsity and its mission
Ministry skills (including the ability to communicate spiritual vision, teach spiritual and biblical principles, plan ministry programs, and spiritually disciple, coach and mentor)
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum three years Campus Staff ministry or equivalent ministry experience required
Willing to receive ongoing training
Able to contribute to an open and supportive relationship with ministry team members
Ability to develop a ministry team
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability and commitment to work in a diverse ministry team environment
Effective oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated problem-solving skills
Ability to organize events and manage the details involved
Ability to maintain accurate records and files
Ability to take charge of tasks; work independently without close supervision.
Pay Range: $49,296.00 - $65,724.00 per year
Pay: This position is funded through personal fundraising. Accordingly, compensation will vary based on the ability of the individual to secure a donor team to fund the cost of his/her salary. The anticipated salary range for this position on a full-time basis (40 hours/week) is dependent on a variety of factors, including location and cost of living. The actual salary received, including any geographic adjustment to account for location and cost of living, is subject to the individual's ability to raise funds necessary to cover the full amount of such salary within the range set forth in the job posting details.

In the FCA Sports Environment(s), the Ambassador implements a consistent approach to discipleship -- making disciples who make disciples. MINISTERIAL DUTIES

Engage, equip, and empower coaches, athletes and volunteers by ministering through 1-on-1s, Huddles and Events.
Work alongside the supervisor to train and equip volunteers to empower coaches and athletes to be disciples who make disciples.
TALENT ADVANCEMENT
Work alongside the supervisor to recruit, train and develop a diverse group of volunteers in assigned Sports Environment(s) with the purpose of leading every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.
DONOR ADVANCEMENT
Supervisor may ask to engage in support raising by connecting, communicating and caring for donors with appropriate training.
INTERNATIONAL ADVANCEMENT
Work alongside supervisor to serve the aligned International Region by praying, giving, and going.
