We are seeking an experienced and driven Regional Sales Director to lead the growth of our AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) solutions across a defined multi-state territory. This role is responsible for driving new utility sales, managing distributor relationships, and building a high-velocity pipeline of opportunities across water, gas, and electric utility markets. This is a high-velocity, boots-on-the-ground role focused on working through local distribution partners to win new water, gas, and electric AMI business.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets
Identify and close new business opportunities with municipal utilities, cooperatives, and utility districts
Build strong, trust-based relationships with utility stakeholders, consultants, and procurement officials
Manage and support channel/distribution partners, including training, co-selling, and territory planning
Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, product, support) to tailor solutions and ensure delivery alignment

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Attend daily stand-up meetings and maintain strong visibility on the shop floor
Conduct safety audits, inspections, hazard assessments, and PPE reviews
Perform electrical safety reviews, equipment assessments, and lockout/tagout evaluations
Investigate incidents and injuries, execute containment actions, and drive root cause analysis
Serve as SME for OSHA compliance, chemical safety, machine guarding, industrial vehicles, and electrical safety programs
Lead proactive incident prevention, risk reduction, and safety improvement initiatives
