Facility overview: 900k sq ft Tuesday-Friday [2 shifts] / Saturday-Monday [1 shift] 225 employees (including 3PL employees) Responsibilities: Onsite responsible for the oversight of 3PL Partner: Provide leadership and direction to the 3PL provider, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, performance metrics, and company standards and policies. Build and maintain a strong collaborative relationship with 3PL management. Performance Management: Manage key performance indicators (KPIs) such as, but not limited to, inventory accuracy, on-time receiving, on-time shipping, loss/damage, cost per unit, and overall DC cost as a % of sales. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions through both 3PL and internal teams. Customer Satisfaction: Coordinate the activities within the DC to meet customer requirements and specifications. Ensure that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Partner with customers and sales to create new opportunities and to promptly resolve any issues. Cost Management: Lead efforts in conjunction with the 3PL to develop the distribution center budget. Own and manage the total cost of operations for the facility. Manage service and maintenance contracts for the facility and equipment. Identify and implement cost-saving measures. Actively collaborate with Distribution Center Leaders at other locations to share best practices, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure consistency across the network. Ensure compliance to all laws and regulations. Qualifications Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field. Proven experience managing distribution center operations, preferably within a 3PL environment. Experience with consumer packaged goods or other industries with case pick and re-pack. Strong understanding of warehouse processes and best practices. Demonstrated drive and passion for achieving operational excellence. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights. Hiring Range The Hiring Salary Range for this position is: $102,000.00 - $132,000.00 in an annual salary.
