Manager - Production Sales Operations is responsible for the execution of our agreed upon scope of work with our customers. This position will lead a team of subject matter experts, supporting scheduling, purchasing, inventory management, delivery, install, final billing and warranty assistance. The overarching goal of the position is to create a positive experience for our customer, while ensuring Ferguson's profitability throughout the project.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for the execution of our production/multi-family/custom strategy ensuring operational alignment to sales and growth objectives
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing superior service support both on-site at projects and at the corporate level
Support local sales strategies through operational excellence, execution discipline, and partnership with field leadership
Adhere to Company compliance and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and requirements
Lead training initiatives for associates across multiple systems and processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and service quality
Manage 5+ Direct Reports
Performance manages associates to ensure adherence to standards
Plan and direct staffing recommendations based on workload, project timelines, business needs and individual skillsets
Resolve issues that arise with a goal of excellence in service while maintaining a lens to profitability.

Qualifications
5__ Years of appliance installation/builder industry/management preferred.
Bachelor's Degree is a plus
Appliance/Lighting installation/order management knowledge is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, Access, etc.)
Detail-orientated with a proven ability to organize and prioritize work

About the Role
As a CDL Delivery Truck Driver, you'll play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials to our customers. You'll enjoy a consistent schedule with no nights or weekends, and the opportunity to be home daily. This position also includes warehouse support responsibilities and offers overtime opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver materials to customers, assist with loading/unloading, and ensure accurate documentation
Pick up customer returns and validate product match for credit
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues
Comply with all DOT standards and company safety policies
Support warehouse operations including order preparation, receiving, staging, and stocking
Work overtime as needed
Qualifications
1-3 years of commercial truck driving experience (preferred)
Valid CDL and DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain)
Must be at least 21 years old
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Background in warehouse operations and logistics is a plus
Strong communication and customer service skills
General digital literacy

Job Details
Reports to the Senior Showroom Manager
22,000 sq ft Showroom
Direct oversight of 4+ associates and will lead the customer service team
Responsibilities
Actively leads day-to-day showroom operations which includes the Showroom team, collaboration with Senior Showroom Manager to focus on Showroom Displays, revenue growth, margin enhancement, budget targets and process improvement
Maintain and develop a team including hiring, mentoring, training, scheduling, goals and expectations and development
Supervises the daily showroom traffic with a wide range of customers to sell a variety of products including lighting, appliances, and high-end fixtures
Handle budget process activities, review and handles expenses
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers as well as be the first point of contact to address and resolve customer complaints
Attend industry events and/or meetings to be the representative of Ferguson locally
Qualifications
2-3 years of prior sales leadership experience is ideal coupled with sales and customer service experience
Bachelors degree is preferred
Proven track record to build and implement process improvement / efficiencies
Ability to initiate and embrace change, mentoring skills and desire to train others
Ability to work across department lines, manage time and people
Must have outstanding communication skills; verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Ability to listen optimally to address problems, anticipate issues and make effective decisions
Experience in Plumbing Fixtures, Lighting and/or Appliance Retail Sales is a plus
The ability to take care of a vast array of customers with varying levels of product knowledge

Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Qualifications:

A strong sales presence and good interpersonal skills
Problem solving, leadership and listening skills
Organizational and time management skills
The ability to deal with a vast array of customers with varying levels of product knowledge
Understand the basics of design and interior decorating

This is a commission eligible role. The estimated total compensation range is $60,000 - $80,000 annually.
