Not sure what they are looking for in an employee
If you don't kiss butt you get nowhere.
Nothing
Not sure if he is good or bad. If he us responsible for the culture then bad.
Get better pricing for all professionals in the plumbing trade and not just a select one or two. In my experience I found the biggest customer we had in Tucson paid below cost on most items.
Just came and gave my experience.
Not a whole lot. It's who you know and if you are in with the big wigs you can sit on your butt and do nothing. Biggest problem with the company is how they do business. Expecting other companies to pick up the tab for one company who gets pricing that to be honest no one should get.
They have alot of resources and many ill-managed so if you get to the right person, you can take advantage of it.
You can't trust leadership or HR. I've seen first hand employees being pushed out and let go when they were dealing with a personal issues. I've experienced leadership ask associates why they don't fit in and what's wrong with them. The philospy seems to be to fire people so you won't have to pay benefits or unemployment. It is very sad. People should know the bad things they do to their associates..
No perk or benefit would excuse the way the company treats their associates.
Challenging work environment. My group has a work hard, play hard mentality which can make for hard days but in a very fun environment.
Long work hours. The company can rely on the top performers to carry the group which can lead resentment and the feeling of no career advancement.
Decent pay and a work hard, play hard mentality.
Nothing
It is a totally soul-crushing environment. I worked for one of it's pre-cursors for twenty years before it was "absorbed" into the Ferguson World. It was the beginning of the end of what was previously a wonderful work environment.
Upper management does not monitor individual locations well. One in town is losing business and they don’t seem to look up from their computer screens to care.
Benefits
Product line.
