* Test performance of electromechanical assemblies 12v,24v,240v,480v,(AC/dc) using test instruments
* Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, or technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly
* Troubleshooting and replacing of PLC's (input and output), HMI's, photo eyes, proximity switches, sensors, relays, and motor controls
* Repair or calibrate assemblies or systems to meet operational specifications or tolerances
* Perform preventative electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs
* Fabricate brackets and guards necessary for machine operation
* Install, set up and troubleshoot A/C and D/C VFD's
* Diagnose cause of electrical and mechanical malfunction and failure of operational equipment, performing preventative and corrective maintenance
* Recommend and initiate modification and replacement of equipment that failed to meet acceptable operating standards.
* Collaborate with management to plan and execute preventive maintenance programs and to schedule inspections and major overhauls in coordination with other operating activities
* Repair and replace low/high pressure pumps, diaphragm and piston pumps
* Install electrical and electronic parts and hardware in housing and assembly, using soldering equipment and hand tools
* Diagnose cause of electrical and mechanical malfunction and failure of operational equipment, performing preventative and corrective maintenance
* Inspect and measure parts to detect wear, misalignment, and remove and replace worn and defective parts of drive mechanisms and systems
* Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment and compliance
* Follow NFPA 70E code

* Ability to read and comprehend electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic prints, schematics, assembly drawings, operations and maintenance manuals, and other technical literature

Responsibilities:
The Industrial/Maintenance Controls System Supervisor provides guidance and direction to a team of employees in the Maintenance Controls department. Makes strategic and sound decisions pertaining to industrial controls, department safety, and department efficiency for team. Monitors controls systems of the plant related to production processes and overall plant facilities, and develops plans to provide preventative modifications to maximize equipment uptime, plant efficiencies, product quality, safety, and cost control. Builds an effective employee team by engaging, mentoring, and developing direct reports.
Plans and schedules daily staffing needs to maximize labor efficiency and ensure maintenance controls needs are met.

You Have at Least (Required Qualifications):
Associates Degree in Controls Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a similar maintenance subject area.
Five years of industrial controls experience although applicable education may substitute experience.
Familiarity with SAP, Maximo, or other manufacturing computer systems.

This role is primarily responsible for serving the customer through assessing needs, recommending appropriate products and/or services, performing entry-level vehicle services, and ensuring customer satisfaction through thorough and timely completion of services.
Successful individuals in this role will learn all aspects of store operations and effectively flex between interacting/ serving the customer and efficiently completing basic vehicle service tasks as required.Pay Range: $16.00 - $23.90
Responsibilities
Hybrid Role
Customer service, sales, customer issue resolution- 75%.
Basic vehicle service tasks, oil, tires, fluids- 25%.
Store operations, opening/closing, inventory, displays- as needed basis.
Growth and career development role
* May assist Manager or act as Manager-On-Duty in certain circumstances or to support development.
* Learn all aspects of store operations and flex between front/back shop tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid automobile driver's license.
Customer service and career growth mindset.
Ability to learn and perform basic vehicle service tasks.
Ability to learn and operate store systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
2 year degree or non-traditional education through training program completion, certification, or other exhibiting the growth mindset that is needed in this candidate.
Previous consumer retail sales experience.
Previous automotive experience a plus.
Previous management/supervisory experience a plus.

Ways you will make a difference
Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic components, conveyor systems, and production machines; follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshoot malfunctions.
Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems and using precision measuring and testing instruments
Install new machinery and/or equipment by installing utilities to and between machines and equipment using hand and power tools and test equipment
Repair electrical systems and equipment by diagnosing malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures; determining faulty wiring; inspecting and testing malfunctioning machinery
Repair and replace faulty electrical components by using testing equipment and hand tools to install relays, switches, motors, printed circuit boards, and position-sensing devices
Troubleshoot and maintain equipment including but not limited to:
High-speed horizontal and vertical carton machines
Bag machines
Moguls and related equipment such as pumps, conveyors, printers, tapers etc.
Rebuild machinery as wear and tear occurs
Perform routine preventative maintenance per established PM program
Fabricate and repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment
Understand and demonstrate the Company's core values and operating principles
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, GMP and safety standards; ensure adherence with AIB, SQF and other relevant standards
Perform other duties as assigned to support Ferrara Candy Company business objectives
Skills that will make you successful
Minimum of 1 year experience in the maintenance and repair of related manufacturing and material handling equipment required ; food manufacturing experience strongly preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities, as well as a working knowledge of machinery repair practices, shop practices, use of hand and power tools and electrical testing instruments
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Basic mathematical skills
Ability to pass certification test on pallet jack and fork lift
Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods; ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; ability to understand detailed written and/or oral instructions
Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Promote teamwork; possess a good attitude, and exhibit flexibility and willingness to perform tasks as needed
Ability to problem solve by adjusting variables in standardized situations
Perform other duties as assigned to support Ferrara Candy Company business objectives.
