James Allen Ferrell (born September 15, 1966) is an American lawyer and politician serving as the mayor of Federal Way, Washington since 2014. After being a member of the Republican Party for twenty years, in 2012 he switched to the Democratic Party. Ferrell previously served ten years on the Federal Way City Council and was the prime mover behind the city's transition from a Council–Manager form of city government to a Mayor-Council or "Strong Mayor" government. Pros of working at Ferrellgas

At first good benefits and pay.

Cons of working at Ferrellgas

No real raises, corporate mis management, old equipment, removal of spouse health ins coverage.

Ferrellgas benefits

None anyway. Looks like bankruptcy is right around the corner again.

What do you like best about Ferrellgas's CEO and the leadership team?

Don't know the CEO, but they don't seem to care about us workers in the field

How would you improve Ferrellgas's culture?

Make it a truly employee owned company. We have no voice at ferrellgas. Still ran by handful of corporate executives.

How did you prepare for the Ferrellgas interview?

I didn't. They are desperate for workers.

How does your compensation at Ferrellgas compare to the industry average?

4 years ago it was above average. But now most other companies pay better with better benefits

What's the diversity at Ferrellgas like?

I don't see any.

What brings you the most joy at Ferrellgas?

Going home at the end of the day
