Our Fannie May Retail team is hiring team members! Fannie May, part of the Ferrero family of brands, was founded over 100 years ago with one simple store in the heart of Chicago. We continue today, using only the freshest, purest ingredients available in our time-honored recipes and our newest creations. Over the years, our chocolates and confections have earned a devoted following, and our retail team members help to create a warm in-store experience to help make moments special with our premium chocolates.
Main Responsibilities:
Retail team members are responsible for generating sales and providing customer service. They will also be required to operate the cash register and perform a variety of operational activities as assigned by the store manager.

Compensation Data

About the Role: We have a current opening for a Financial Reporting Analyst and are actively reviewing applications. This position will be responsible to support the financial reporting of our North America industrial business which covers a number of industrial facilities with a focus of responsibilities but not limited to:
Main Responsibilities:
* Ensure integrity and validity of financial statement information with detailed review of accounts for appropriate cutoff and validity of information.
* Support external and internal audit execution and completion.
* Support necessary changes with policies and procedures to support accounting methodologies and compliance objectives.
* Perform quantitative analysis of operational and financial data and investigate discrepancies to support all areas of the Company.
* Complete monthly and year end activities in a timely manner and within company deadlines including GL account reconciliations, journal entries, financial statement preparation, leadership presentations, and intercompany alignment analysis.
* Oversee royalty programs with our Brand Managers to ensure accurate royalty reporting and on-time payments of royalties owed
* Identify opportunities for simplification and automation in current financial processes and systems.
* Support and in some cases perform counts of inventory and fixed assets at the facilities across the U.S.
About You:
* Accounting degree preferred.
* At least 3 years of relevant experience (industrial/consumer-product industry background recommended)
* Knowledge and experience in financial and/or management accounting
* Solid understanding of US GAAP and management reporting.
* Approximately 10-20% of travel within the U.S.
* Experience with ERP and reporting systems - SAP and HFM system experience preferred
* Ability to communicate with all levels of the Company and have the necessary interpersonal skills to work effectively with different departments.

About the Role: As the Quality Product Specialist, you will ensure the integrity and highest level of quality for all Ferrero products produced in the Franklin Park, IL plant. The Quality Product Specialist will be responsible for the inspection of work in process and finished products. As the Quality Product Specialist, you will ensure compliance of quality standards for all products, GMPs and Food Safety.
Main Responsibilities:
* Ensure the inspection of the finished product output; guarantee finished products meet quality specifications established by the Quality Department.
* Ensure the examination of the quality reports from the day prepared by production personnel (entry of data into system such as SAP-QM); ensure the examination of monthly reports; request and verify adjustment as required
* Conduct sensory sessions for semi-finished and finished product
* Support factory food allergen management program and product coding maintenance
* Monitor and review information from materials, events, or the environment to detect or assess problems
* Train production employees personnel regarding quality check of the product (self-control)
* Record goods movements in SAP (e.g. stock for quality controls / blocked stock, etc.)
* Ensure all program requirements/standards regarding quality and food safety are implemented, practiced, and maintained
* Internal auditing, recording statistical data and analyzing production data to verify compliance or determine deviation from existing standards
* Execute daily review of the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) documentation
* Enforce and promote all company guidelines, policies, and good manufacturing practices
About You:
* Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Biotechnology, or Food Chemistry; Bachelor's Degree highly preferred
* 1-3 years of relevant work experience
* Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
* Ability to match or detect differences between colors, including shades of color and brightness; ability to see details at close range; ability to compare similarities and differences quickly and accurately, ability to identify or detect a pattern; ability to add, sub-tract, multiply or divide quickly and correctly
* Must have good verbal and written communication skills
* Must be able to perform in a demanding, fast-paced environment
* Proficiency in SAP systems preferred
* Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HAACP strongly preferred
