Role Description

The Clinical Supervisor (CS) provides oversight, leadership, and direction to the clinical staff of
Tandem Behavioral Health. This role ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local
regulations, promotes excellence in clinical care, and maintains adherence to Virginia Medicaid and
DBHDS standards. The Clinical Supervisor develops, as needed, and implements policies and
procedures, supervises clinical staff, oversees investigations and risk management, and ensures
high-quality care and documentation. The Clinical Supervisor provides administrative and clinical
supervisor to the Clinical Supervisor Assistant. The Clinical Supervisor provides direct Clinical
supervision to counselors, Peers, Case Managers, Assessment Specialist and other staff only in the
absence of the Clinic Director.
This position has an assistant to assist the Clinical Supervisor with oversight of their operational duties.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Referral & Intake Coordination
Conduct screenings, admissions, referrals, and assessments, as needed
Oversee client intake and orientation processes, as needed.
Complete and/or oversee the completion of Continued Stay requests

Qualifications
Master's degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field required; license or license-eligible (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.) preferred.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in behavioral health or substance use disorder treatment.
Knowledge of Virginia Medicaid guidelines, DBHDS regulations, and clinical documentation standards.
Supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred.

Virginia Tech (VT) seeks to recruit an innovative physician-neuroscientist to its new Patient Research Center (PRC) at the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at VTC (FBRI - ************************* for a tenured or tenure-track faculty leadership position at the associate or full professor level. The PRC initiative has received substantial funding support to launch this major exciting new program.
The successful physician-scientist candidate will preferably have both earned M.D and Ph.D. degrees and have completed clinical residency/fellowship in an appropriate sub-specialty from among disciplines including adult or child neurology, neurosurgery, psychiatry or neuroradiology as well as have an extramurally funded research program that includes human patient based clinical research in either ambulatory, in-patient and/or remote tele-health settings. Applications from investigators using innovative contemporary approaches to study human brain and/or behavioral function in health and disease with inclusion of clinical research trials in their program are welcomed. The faculty member will join 44 other faculty led teams at the FBRI, including 30 neuroscience research teams and will serve as the founding leader of the neuroscience section of Virginian Tech's new PRC. The PRC will have an initial focus on neuroscience research and will join several other highly successful centers at the FBRI including: the Center for Human Neuroscience Research, the Center for Neurobiology Research, the Center for Health Behaviors Research, the Addiction Recovery Research Center and the Neuromotor Research Clinic. The PRC will subsequently expand to include human patient research in cardiovascular research and cancer research.
The primary responsibility for the position is leading-edge research with some additional leadership/administrative duties, particularly as the program grows. While the position is focused on research, it is appreciated that the individual will likely want to maintain some involvement in patient care including some fraction of their effort (10-30%) devoted to a sub-specialty clinic, that can be arranged with our clinical partners, the Carilion Clinic (********************************* The position will also allow for leadership in the identification and recruitment of additional faculty into the PRC.

Highly qualified seasonal crew staff are recruited each year to support completion of routine trail maintenance, major rehabilitation/repair, and relocation projects. Crew Coordinators are critical to the effective operation of quality crew programs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Plan menus for crew meals in the field & at base camp, supervise & conduct meal preparation while the crews are at base camp.
Purchase food and supplies for crews efficiently and cost effectively, following ATC purchasing procedures.
Provide basic facility upkeep such as minor repairs, cleaning, submitting work orders, etc.
Support Crew Leaders by assisting with arrangements for routine maintenance or repairs to vehicles and tools and providing other assistance as requested.
Assist with program management duties, including financial record-keeping, monitoring spending trends, and maintaining budget integrity.
Ensure safe, clean, and environmentally sound conditions at the trail crew base camp.
