I got to meet a lot of great co-workers, that are friends even to this day.
Bad management, when I worked there discount was 5%, I've heard since then they changed it. Pay is horrendously low, no one can live off of $12 an hour, that's what I got after working there for 4 years and cross trained in multiple different areas.
SOME of my coworkers were the best!
I didn't really meet him, he didn't really talk to us common bodies on the floor. Higher leadership was nice.
I prepared for my interview by gathering past references and just being myself. Seems Festival will hire anyone.
I would improve Festival by having managers not text me on my days off/messaging me through Facebook about changing my hours. Had one of my managers message me about open availability, making sure I was available open to close, 7 days a week. They wouldn't take into consideration my schooling schedule either.
In my experience? No, festival pays their employees way below average. My friend still works there, has been for over 10 years and still is only making $11 an hour. With cost of living? That's insane, plus wanting her available to them all hours they are open?
I mean, they will literally hire anyone. There have been many thefts of the register, of course employees have been fired but one was able to dupe the store out of over $1,000.
SOME coworkers.
Some of the people that worked there were very nice, and when the company does stuff for the employees, they really go out.
The management wasn't the greatest, and some of the customers that worked there could be not-so nice.
The employee discount was kind of nice.
I like that the people are friendly.
I didn't like working at night.
I loved being paid which felt awesome.
