We are actively seeking a Welding Team Member to work on the production line. This position involves being a Machine Operator to a welding machine by placing automotive parts into a machine to be welded automatically. No welding experience is necessary. We are actively seeking a Manual Press Operator to set up, operate, or tend manual press machine used to shape metal material to meet product specifications. Essential Job Functions Operate equipment, load and remove material from press Push dual control buttons and move controls to start, stop, or adjust machinery and equipment Place removed material onto conveyor or stack into containers Report any operating difficulties to supervisor Make press and feed gearing adjustments as necessary Set up manual presses and receiving containers Determine when dies need to be sharpened Maintain production records and inventories Follow standard work instructions Perform other duties assigned Other Job Functions Comply with FIC's Safety policies and procedures Comply with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 procedures and standards Perform 5-S activities Requirements 1+ year(s) of experience as a machine or press operator Must be able to speak and read basic English to comply with position, Safety, Plant & PPE procedures & requirements Must be willing to cross-train Must be able to work company's required overtime Must comply with FIC's Attendance and Punctuality Policy Pay Range $17/hour - $19/hour, based on qualifications and experience Additional Compensation: We operate two shifts and 2nd Shift employees are given a $1/hour shift differential Benefits Offered Medical plans offered through Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Delta Dental, and VSP Vision Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Healthcare FSA, Dependent Care FSA, and Transit FSA 401(k) - Company will match 50% of the first 6% you contribute to your 401(k) Basic Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability paid by employer Optional Supplemental Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability (Employee Paid) Vacation, Holiday, and Personal Days Paid About FIC America Corp.
