What We're Seeking BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or other related field. Proven programming skills in Python, Java/Groovy, Perl and shell scripting. Adept at translating business problems into executable code and make recommendations based on findings. Experience in analyzing large datasets and applying data-cleaning techniques along with strong data wrangling skills and experience working with big data technologies. Ability to use statistical software and data manipulation tools for purposes of data quality evaluation. Highly detailed and demonstrates the ability to execute a given process with meticulous precision. Demonstrates the ability to identify complex issues and develop effective solutions independently, focusing on the end goal. Able to audit results with a critical level of accuracy and detail. Knowledge of Windows, UNIX, Red Hat Linux operating systems. Familiarity working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) - Sagemaker, S3, Athena. Familiarity working with big data technology (Spark, Hadoop, etc.) Familiarity with VS Code and version control tools like GitHub or Bitbucket. Familiarity with notebook interfaces such as Jupyter. Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle, my SQL, etc). preferred. Experience working with U.S. Credit Bureau data preferred. What We're Seeking Executive Leadership & Communication. Demonstrated experience presenting complex fraud analytics strategies to executive audiences, boards, and senior leadership teams, translating technical insights into business impact and ROI. Core Analytics & Fraud Expertise. 7+ years of senior experience in financial services fraud analytics with a proven track record of leading fraud prevention and detection initiatives at enterprise level. A recognized fraud analytics professional with documented measurable contributions and thought leadership within their regional market. Demonstrated expertise in fraud analytics and modeling, with hands-on experience building, validating, and optimizing fraud detection algorithms and risk models. Comprehensive understanding of the fraud analytics lifecycle - from data preparation and feature engineering through model validation, implementation, and ongoing performance management. Senior-level expertise across multiple fraud domains including transactional/payment fraud, online/mobile banking fraud, application fraud, and first party fraud from a financial services analytics perspective. Technical Skills & Systems. Deep technical proficiency in advanced analytics, with expert-level skills in statistical software and programming languages such as SAS, SQL, Python, and R.
