Benefits are good but so are other co.panies benefits
Upper management doesn't show respect or recognize executive assistants in the group I support. My admin team supports many people and we do do a lot of work and support many more employees than some other admins, but never mentioned and barely thanked. Whereas associates and managers are always given a "shoutout" or "kudos" in every meeting.
It used to be a fitness reimbursement but they took it away. The 401k supposedly does well compared to other finace companies but I don't have the data to prove.
They all seem very book smart.
I would recognize the lower levels a lot more. I would dismiss many middle managers who visibly do nothing.
I'd try to mention anyone you know at fidelity and study the website for newsworthy topics.
Not good according to glassdoor. I receive high praise in my reviews since I never get complaints, usually go above and beyond but salary doesn't reflect this.
DEI is very prevalent.
I loved being able to move up throughout my career while working there, & they really took time to give feedback and appreciate the employees. The benefits were amazing also.
They don't hire alot of new employees through them. Fidelity Investments uses an on campus temp service called Veritude. While working through Veritude for Fidelity, you don't get any of their benefits/vacation/sick days until you are hired internally with Fidelity. When the market crashed in 2007 they let go so many employees with no heads up or explanation. They let go so many upper ranked staff (management & employees who have worked there 10+yrs) and didn't offer any one a settlement package, and Tom their pensions.
Depending on what area and job you are doing, and you get praised for your work, they give amazing gifts
Amazingly talented coworkers, and for the state I resided in the pay was slightly above average starting, yet less than similar markets.
Over emphasis on employment market location in benefits modeling, and top heavy micro-management. There were also questionable ethical standards.
Working a "9 to 5" without having to take work home(at entry level only). There were quarterly bonuses equal to about a months pay but this is actually pretty insulting given the profit margins and account values you would handle working here.
For younger age groups they provide a Woke work culture. Also, they provide politically correct benefits.
Very weak retirement plan, over emphasis on overly nice culture Management is poor, and they outsource the higher paying positions to India. There is a lot of rigidity in processes and customer service. Insufficient experience in lower management and training positions.
Tine off.
I enjoy the people I work with and the ability to learn so many different things within such a specified position.
I do not like the hybrid schedule and their opportunities to hire entry level marketing associates.
The pay.
Great environment where you meet good people.
This is a great company.
Learned a lot about finance and company software.
Positive, supportive, collaborative environment, career growth, thoughtful amenities
On-site Cafe with a variety of healthy breakfast and lunch options
Great culture, pay and benefits
Occasionally you get a manager that's not that great but you can usually wait them out as they don't last long.
Great facilities

The pay.
Excellent Recruiter, Financial Training, Good Benefits
Bad Management, Toxic Culture, Low Salary, Extensive Training
401k Match
The resources available to assist you in answering questions
Call center enviroment is definitely not for everyone, managers monitor every move made by employee
Retirement plan
