We are looking to add Mortgage Location Survey Field Crews to our team in the Washington Court House area to help manage our growing business. Our intent is to employ a motivated individual who is self-starting, dedicated, and able to work independently, with the proper support and guidance from our existing staff.
The individual will be responsible for Mortgage Location Coverage in their area, after being sufficiently trained by one of our current field crew chiefs. This role requires working outdoors. Survey field crews are responsible for collecting data and monumentation for the property being surveyed. With the use of surveying equipment, the field crew looks for and documents all the necessary information to send back to the office team of drafters and licensed surveyors who will take that data and interpret it into the final survey. Our field crews are the boots on the ground and our physical eyes at the property on each location we are hired to survey.
No experience is necessary! We have an in house training program to train from scratch, all that's needed is a desire to work outside and being comfortable working independently once trained.
You will be working alongside our team of surveying professionals who are both dedicated and appreciated. We pride ourselves on the quality of our work - covering the State of Ohio without the use of subcontractors - preferring the expertise and professionalism of our own staff.
Rate of pay for new hires with no land surveying experience is $17/hr. Higher rates available with previous land surveying field experience.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Preform surveying assignments under the direction of a supervisor.
- Responsible for safe operation and maintenance of vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Loads vehicles with tools and equipment, ensuring materials are loaded correctly.
- Learn to operate and maintain all instruments and measuring devices including levels, robotic total stations, GPS equipment and data collectors.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

The WTI Field Resource Foreman (Foreman) oversees and performs the safety, efficiency, and quality of the WTI field service business. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Conduct the daily onsite safety brief before the start of the WTI project with the Sales Rep, customer, and the WTI crew. Inspect and ensure all surroundings, equipment, and tools and identify and discuss any safety concerns. Complete the Daily Hazard Analysis form and submit it to the Supervisors as applicable. Foreman also ensures that all technicians complete Daily Hazard Analysis.
· Ensure all project communication is completed before the start of any WTI project. This includes but is not limited to communication with:
o WTI Field Resources Supervisor (Supervisor) daily and before starting new projects (ensure any/all communication with the Sales Reps is also shared with the Supervisor.
o Sales Rep weekly and/or as needed and before new projects.
o WTI crew members will discuss the scope of work, daily tasks, and the overall schedule.
o Customer/Client (as needed or required by the Sales Rep) daily and/or weekly.
· Efficient management of projects will include managing the crew's start and end times, daily productivity (hours, man-days, etc.), and ensuring tools and materials are available to complete the assigned project safely and efficiently. Complete the project per the approved scope of work or specification and after issuance by the Supervisor.
· Using a designated company-mandated reporting tool, the Foreman will complete an end-of-day and/or end-of-project walk-through to ensure the quality of workmanship and address any punch list items before leaving the job site. These items will include updates on work performed, materials consumed (T&M projects), and supplies purchased.
· Ensure all WTI Field Resources Reps (Field Reps) have a professional appearance and customer interaction while completing services for a customer.
· Responsible for ordering, tracking, and monitoring inventory and ensuring quarterly cycle counts are completed and submitted timely.
· Provide pricing for self-performing projects over $12,500.
· Submit all proposals of over $20,000 to the Supervisor for review and approval before submitting them to the GS Administrator for logging and distribution to the Sales Rep.
· Monitor and manage the Field Reps. Consult with the Supervisor to take appropriate steps or corrective measures to resolve employee work-related issues and necessary documentation. Work with the Supervisor to elevate the issues to HR as required.
· Coordinate with the Supervisor to create project schedules.
· Review time reports daily and make necessary corrections with the admin team.
· Attending all appropriate calls, meetings, and trainings.
· Perform any other duties and/or projects as required or assigned by the Supervisor or Regional Business Manager.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
· 30-hour OSHA certification
· Registered Roof Observer (RRO) preferred but not required.

Your Opportunity
We provide our clients a full range of surveying and mapping services. Through our work, we define land boundaries and analyze spatial data. We are looking for Seasonal Field Assistant to assist our team in Ohio. You will work with direct supervision and general direction on tasks and smaller projects, and as a team member of a larger project under the guidance of a Senior Surveyor. Please note that this is a summer position with a possibility of an extension.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Preform surveying assignments under the direction of a supervisor.
* Responsible for safe operation and maintenance of vehicles, tools, and equipment.
* Loads vehicles with tools and equipment, ensuring materials are loaded correctly.
* Learn to operate and maintain all instruments and measuring devices including levels, robotic total stations, GPS equipment and data collectors.
* Learn to transfer survey data to the proper files in the computer network and acquire data for field use under the direction of the survey crew chief.
* Learn to assist in the preparation of survey drawings using AutoCAD software.
* Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
* Good cooperative skills in working efficiently with a team.
* Foundational math skills, including algebra and trigonometry.
* Ability to learn to operate Trimble Robotic Total Stations, Trimble GPS equipment, TSC3 data collectors, and digital levels, and other related equipment.
* Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Education and Experience
* 0-2+ years of related work experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. Basic knowledge of surveying would be considered an asset.
* Position will primarily work in field setting (seasonal).

We are looking to add Mortgage Location Survey Field Crews to our team in the Athens area to help manage our growing business. Our intent is to employ a motivated individual who is self-starting, dedicated, and able to work independently, with the proper support and guidance from our existing staff.
The individual will be responsible for Mortgage Location Coverage in their area, after being sufficiently trained by one of our current field crew chiefs. This role requires working outdoors. Survey field crews are responsible for collecting data and monumentation for the property being surveyed. With the use of surveying equipment, the field crew looks for and documents all the necessary information to send back to the office team of drafters and licensed surveyors who will take that data and interpret it into the final survey. Our field crews are the boots on the ground and our physical eyes at the property on each location we are hired to survey.
No experience is necessary! We have an in house training program to train from scratch, all that's needed is a desire to work outside and being comfortable working independently once trained.
