Maintain all engineering documentation in Autodesk Vault and actively participate in Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes. Design parts and develop practical solutions to unique project challenges. Manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize deliverables to meet deadlines. Experience 3+ years of experience in electrical controls design and project implementation. Hands-on experience with PLC/HMI-based control systems design and programming. Familiarity with configuration and commissioning of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). Knowledge of UL 508A standards (preferred). Experience with process and instrumentation hardware implementation. Prior exposure to water or wastewater treatment equipment (preferred). Panel building, testing, and troubleshooting experience (a plus). Reports to: Superintendent FLSA: Exempt The Field Engineer position will provide effective and efficient support to the project's field management team in document control, change management, record keeping, scheduling, quality control, safety, and stormwater management. He/she will support the Superintendent and field staff in maintaining building control and quality control throughout the project construction process. Reports to: Superintendent FLSA: Exempt The Field Engineer position will provide effective and efficient support to the project's field management team in document control, change management, record keeping, scheduling, quality control, safety, and stormwater management. He/she will support the Superintendent and field staff in maintaining building control and quality control throughout the project construction process. The Field Engineer will coordinate with the Superintendent and Project Management team for all material deliveries, verifying schedule of deliverables and accuracy of material deliveries. They will have direct authority over all trade partners and JHL craft regarding Safety and Quality, along with coordinating with the Superintendent on all decisions related to or direction regarding subcontractors. REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Core Duties / Responsibilities: Maintain thorough understanding of contract documents, inclusive of all changes during pre-construction and construction Define and implement procedures for posting revisions and updates to as-built construction documents inclusive of subcontractor and field as-built red-lines Develop and maintain document control logs - submittals, RFI, ASI, change management, etc. Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision Thoroughly review submittals against the contract documents Prepare, review, and distribute RFI's. Review subcontractor RFI's in advance of sending to design team to verify question is not addressed in the contract documents Assist with project closeout - obtain warranties and O&M manuals required for final acceptance Perform quantity calculations by taking measurements and determining percentage of completed/installed materials and work Assist in compiling, processing, and confirming daily labor timesheets Develop and maintain: Material Tracking List, Project Test/Special Inspection and Inspection Log, Concrete Placement Log, Non-Conformance Report Prepare meeting minutes for job coordination and subcontractor meetings. Attend and distribute minutes for both OAC meetings and subcontractor coordination Collect and electronically file project progress photos weekly. Ensure photos taken by Superintendent are saved to Project Management file on JHL network Order and schedule material deliveries as directed by Superintendent Work with Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Superintendent to monitor procurement schedule and prioritize submittal and procurement needs consistent with project schedule Assist with short interval schedule management with Scheduler, Superintendent & Project Manager input Create supplemental schedules for material deliveries, subcontractors, etc. and direct subcontractors to meet delivery dates & task schedules Assist in field work layout support including control points, horizontal and vertical control, and compilation of as-built data to design data Resolve field construction issues with input from Project Manager and Superintendent Thorough understanding of each subcontractor's obligations under their respective subcontract Assist with subcontractor pre-construction coordination meetings and documentation Assist in the preparation of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA's) Assist with jobsite safety and storm water compliance documentation and policy implementation. Education / Experience: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering or minimum two (2) years of experience in the commercial construction industry. Maintain OSHA 30 (minimum) and recommended refresher training. Obtain as required - project specific and equipment operation safety training. Attend training for operational software as needed to stay current. Job Purpose: The L2 Field Engineer leads field-based deployment and maintenance activities, applying advanced technical knowledge to resolve complex issues, coordinate tasks, and support junior engineers. Main Responsibilities: Principal accountabilities of the role include, but are not limited to: Provide First Line Maintenance support for Indigo Telecom Group to the current customer base. Carry out installation and commissioning duties in both a project and maintenance environment. Respond to all interventions in a timely manner, ensuring as far as reasonably possible that all SLA's are met. Provide OOH on-call cover as required by agreed on-call rota. Provide the Indigo GSD with regular up-to-date information on progress of intervention. Provide Line Manager and relevant Project Managers with feedback regarding on-site issues. Complete and submit all paperwork and documentation within SLA. Fault finding; Ability to lead on resolving complex technical problems as well as receiving instructions (written or verbal) from NOC (Indigo and/or customer) to resolve outstanding issues. Provides first line leadership and direction to engineers, defines and implements Field Quality Installation Standards, consults on Infrastructure Services and assists in the relevant Service Partner management programmes. Installation of metalwork, basket work and basic rack and stack services Fibre and cable pulling, dressing, labelling and secure of same Copper Cable termination including Cat "x" and E1 terminations Ensure continuity, test and measurement of cable and fibre runs Electrical connectivity of 240v AC plug & play and -48v DC to distribution panels (no power up until certification).
