Job Duties: Roadway design for INDOT and Local Public Agency (LPA) clients Creates and reviews project design calculations, quantities takeoffs, specifications, plans and contract documents. Works within the Transportation Team assigning responsibilities. Plan, schedule, conduct or coordinate detailed phases of engineering work. Attend project meetings and presents specific aspects of engineering assignments. Conduct analysis choosing appropriate applications. Works within the Transportation Team assigning responsibilities. Works within project schedules and budgets. Provide leadership, coaching, and or mentoring to junior engineers in the development of plans, reports, and specifications. Complete training on assigned tasks. Applies INDOT design manual and AAHTO principles to highway design. Utilizes roadway design CADD software.
