Job DescriptionSalary: $90,000 - 120,000/year The AV Field Engineer is responsible for the on-site technical execution, testing, and commissioning of integrated audiovisual systems. This includes verifying system functionality, troubleshooting complex issues, ensuring compliance with design documentation, and supporting installation teams. Requirements 3+ years of experience in commercial AV installation, commissioning, or field engineering. Strong understanding of AV signal flow, control systems, and networking fundamentals. Proficiency with at least one major AV control or DSP platform (e.g., Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Biamp, AMX). Familiarity with IP-based AV systems, video conferencing technologies (Zoom Rooms, Teams Rooms, Webex), and display/control integration. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation. Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills in the field. Strong communication and customer service skills. Willingness to travel regionally for project support (up to [XX]% as needed).
