Basic Function Airvac is the global leader in the Vacuum Technology System industry. The primary function of our Project Engineer I is to support in the design of vacuum systems. Effective communication of project schedules and collaboration with teams is emphasized. Travel up to 10% of the time for meetings, project visits, etc. may be required. Duties & Responsibilities Reads and interprets project drawings, specifications, electrical schematics, territory maps, and other client documentation. Creates project estimates and layouts for potential projects. Designs schematic of electrical controls and components. Supports the design of vacuum station equipment, including the collection tank, control panel, vacuum pumps, and discharge pumps. Modifies standard detail drawings. Ensures technical product documentation and details are compliant to customer specifications and internal standards. Compiles materials for manuals and other technical publication including O&M manuals and submittals. Performs various other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager. Required Skills Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering. 1+ years' related experience is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
