**About the Opportunity**
Reporting to the customer operations manager, the Gasboy Field Engineer will play a critical role in continuously improving the customer experience. As a key member of the service operations team, you will spend most of your time in the field, supporting end customers and authorized service contractors with new product adoption, project rollouts, training, data collection, testing and onsite service and troubleshooting.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Support the on-site field service activities as the resident expert on Gasboy products to provide the ultimate consumer experience by diagnosing performance related issues, determining root cause, corrective actions, confirming resolution and regularly communicate with all stakeholders on status
+ Make recommendations for the development of effective training resources and troubleshooting guides with the product support specialist team
+ Provide recommendations to the market service manager to add or remove authorized service network providers to ensure best in class field service support for our customers
+ Ensure authorized serviced technicians are properly trained according to department compliance, work, and customer security requirements
+ Lead regular scheduled field training sessions with key service partners and distributors in a market for continuing education opportunities and knowledge transfer
+ Communicate with stakeholders to convey drivers of operational impact of findings to ensure contact center consistency, process alignment, and process improvements
+ Act as the communication liaison between internal stakeholders, customers and service contractors regarding on-site findings and resolution
+ Support PSS/Engineering as requested for onsite testing, data collection, and trouble shooting
+ Support ad hoc Service Operation's needs (contract maintenance, projects, FMS, etc.) for site related challenges
+ Utilize technical and analytical skills to support technical assistance center as expert on Gasboy product solutions
+ Maintain compliance with safety standards according to Gilbarco Veeder-Root, Customer and Regulatory policies
**WHO YOU ARE (Qualifications)**
+ Preferred: Associates or bachelor's degree in computer science or networking
+ Preferred: 5 years or more of service in petroleum equipment with manufacturers certifications
+ Preferred: A+ and Linux certified or have the ability to obtain the A+ and Linux certifications within 90 days
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Networking required
+ Knowledge of Linux and SQL a plus
+ Road Warrior- travel is 75% or more for this role to include overnight
+ Extensive experience interfacing with end customers
+ Experience in performing training to small and large groups
+ Exceptional work ethic with excellent analytical/troubleshooting skills
+ Ability to lift 30+ pounds, walk medium distances, and be on your feet for 2+ hours

The base compensation range for this position is $70,000 to $95,000 per annum. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon numerous factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.

+ Performs preventative maintenance as directed.

**Qualifications**
+ Associates degree in electrical engineering, electronics or computer science discipline, or equivalent experience.
+ Minimum one year of previous field service experience.
+ Knowledge of assigned equipment to provide timely repair and effective maintenance.
+ Requires active listening skills and above average customer service skills.
+ Requires sound organization and administrative skills, self-starter a must along with ability to maintain paperwork to FDA and company required standards.
+ Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner.

+ This activity occurs rarely and periodic above the shoulders when the worker must access components and cupboards that are on top of the 6-foot-high MRI machine. This activity occurs occasionally and periodic below shoulder level with a variety of tasks.
+ Kneeling/Crawling/Crouching
+ This activity occurs occasionally and periodic/prolonged. It occurs primarily in the wiring process as well as accessing the lower panels of the MRI machine.
+ Climbing:
+ This activity occurs rarely and periodic when the worker must climb up to 3 steps of a 6-foot ladder to access the upper access panels of the MRI machine in order to perform diagnostic testing.
+ Balancing:
+ This activity occurs rarely and periodic and occurs when the worker is standing on the ladder as mentioned above.

+ This activity occurs rarely and periodic in the low back. It may occur with some of the tasks performed.

Responsibilities:
Work with Manufacturing to develop user requirements for AML6 capital projects
Develop project schedule of installation and qualification activities.
Work directly with construction and C&Q contractors to deliver project deliverables.
Administer the implementation and closeout of projects
Communicating and reporting to site leadership on project matters.
Monitoring and evaluating engineer/contractors physical progress.
Addressing progress and delay claims from contractors.
Reviewing and approving engineer change orders and invoices.
Preparing monthly project status reports for senior management both on site.
Developing and monitoring project schedules.
Technical Abilities Required: The Project Engineer must have strong technical experience working on small projects supporting industrial process equipment and biotechnology manufacturing facilities including C&Q & start up activities for Manufacturing facilities.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer II to join our engineering team.
