This position will work on a variety of projects and interact with traffic engineers, highway engineers, transportation planners and our clients. Projects generally focus on bus related planning and infrastructure, and can include transportation and transit planning, station design, highway design, facilities and site design, alternatives analysis and concept development, and construction coordination. Obtains confirmations from design engineer as needed * Assist with subcontract administration and permanent material suppliers through monitoring of correspondence, submittals, RFI's, and performance records; Maintains accurate payment records. * Assist in preparing monthly reporting for progress payments, schedule updates, and problem/issue tracking and resolution. Provides accurate and factual assessments of project performance. * Participate in change orders and claims management * Identify and resolves changing site conditions or other impacts during planning of the work * Develop quality checks and coordinate permits from appropriate entities * Manage and submit project close-out in coordination with the client and third parties REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or similar, from an accredited institution * Heavy Civil construction experience preferred * Experience with AutoCAD * Knowledge of construction safety and current federal & OSHA Requirements. * Project controls techniques (i.e. cost accounting, basic estimating, forecasting, and contracts) * A strong working knowledge of the critical path method and resource scheduling. * Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and Primavera P6. * Strong organizational and time management skills. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies. * Strong work ethic - Highly motivated and willing to do what it takes to get the job done right. * The ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Role Summary: The Field Engineering Technician will play a critical role in supporting the installation, operation, and service of Clarapath s SectionStar , our advanced electro-mechanical device, at customer sites. Working closely with our engineering, manufacturing, and customer support teams, this individual will ensure successful deployments, perform on-site diagnostics and repairs, and provide valuable feedback to improve product performance and reliability.
