The role will be based approximately 1/2 the month at client site locations and 1/2 the month working remotely from home. Based on this, applicants must be located within a commutable location to Ft. Meade, MD.
This position supports day two activities within the company Services Organization. Primary role of position is to work closely with a company customer in their lab environment, by troubleshooting and validating the customer’s company portfolio. This position is the primary interface between the customer and the company on telecom issues and ensuring that the customer’s the company solution is up-to-date and functioning properly.
To be successful in the role, the candidate must have a strong technical background in AS5300 and Linux, as well as, excellent communication and presentation skills.
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages customer’s on site lab by performing maintenance, upgrades and repair on the customer’s company systems which may include hardware, software and networking products. Ensures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations which may impact product performance. Viewed as an expert by both company and customers. Work is performed with minimal direction and reviewed by senior management. May have work-flow leadership/mentorship role with other field engineers.
