Position Specific Description NextEra Energy is seeking a technical individual to be part of the FPL Power Generation Solar Operations Team. PGD Field Engineer shall be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the large scale universal solar and or battery facilities inside the state of Florida. Work Environment Additionally, a pressurized environment is the norm. The employee will be working on heavy civil and highway construction sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outdoor conditions that include inclement weather, heat, humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to navigate rugged terrain, climb substantial heights, and work over and on water. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multilimbed coordination. The employee must have excellent stamina.
