The Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering inputs integral to both small and large-scale hydro and dam projects. You will be working in a collaborative environment with a great team of engineers, technicians, scientists, and other industry-leading peers.
Key Responsibilities
Provide input to those managing and executing multiple projects (small to large) from the proposal stage through to completion
Establish connections with other departments to support and enhance service delivery
Work collaboratively with other disciplines and multidisciplinary project teams to execute project deliverables, as well as ensure that quality objectives, schedules, and budgets are met
Mentor junior staff

About You
To fill the role, we're looking for an applicant to bring forward a good mix of qualifications and previous experiences. Some highlights should include:

The base compensation range for this position is $70,000 to $95,000 per annum. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon numerous factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.

JOB SUMMARY:
As a Phoenix FieldEngineer, you will be responsible for implementing Phoenix Controls systems in accordance with project plans, specifications, and contract documents. This role requires a strong understanding of building control and mechanical system performance at both the system-wide and campus level, with a particular focus on critical environments such as laboratories and healthcare facilities.
You will ensure that all project documentation is accurate, thorough, and up to date, while also providing supplemental project management support as needed, including direct interaction with customers and stakeholders. In addition, you will coordinate with Phoenix Controls suppliers to ensure timely and accurate product ordering, delivery, and fulfillment.

The Role
As a Founding Thermal and Fluids Systems Engineer at Endurance, you'll be a key early member of our team, building the power generation cycle at the heart of our subsea geothermal power plants. You will rapidly design, test, and optimize the components of a compact power cycle, playing a pivotal role in bringing this novel energy system from concept to reality. This role focuses primarily on systems engineering and the integration of proven components into robust, field-ready systems, but also requires the flexibility, creativity, and entrepreneurial mindset essential to an early-stage startup. You'll work across multiple technical domains and help shape the foundation of our energy systems as the company scales.
Your first major project will be the design, build, and testing of a 100kWe compact power cycle at our site in Seattle. This full-scale loop will validate the performance and reliability of our core power generation technology in a controlled land-based environment before it is packaged for subsea deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the thermal-fluid design of new power cycle architectures and components including turbines, heat exchangers, pumps, condensers, and piping systems.
Assemble, operate and validate a 100kw scale thermodynamic power cycle test loop
Design and build test rigs for component and system testing.
Carry out detailed analysis and component optimization using numerical simulation tools.
Support the design of other mission critical systems such as geothermal and hydrothermal heat exchangers and deep sea vehicles.
Support business development activities including supplier meetings, technical presentations, and customer interactions
Help establish system engineering and modelling tools, processes, and documentation for future team growth
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or related engineering discipline (preferably with a masters)
3+ years of experience in thermal and fluid systems modeling and/or design.
Experience designing, building, testing, and deploying test rigs for system validation.

Stoke's Stage Fluids team is developing a reusable LNG/LOX first stage and reusable LH2/LOX second stage for our launch vehicle, Nova. As a Fluids Engineer, you will be responsible for defining, designing, manufacturing, and testing various fluids systems across the rocket. You will be owner of the entire process for your designs, from early concepting and architecture trades, to creating models in CAD and completing analysis, to procuring parts with suppliers and integrating them onto the vehicle. As part of a small, well-supported team, you will have access to the resources you need to get the job done right while simultaneously boosting your skills at a pace that can't be matched in most other roles. You must be ready to stay focused, move fast, self-direct, and learn on the fly.
Responsibilities
Collect design requirements from multidisciplinary teams, and use these to create concepts for fluids systems
Lead architecture trades for major fluids systems, rapidly transform these decisions into real-life hardware implementations
