Provides analyst functions of: trunk/network utilization and traffic balancing and recommendations, security violations, technical aspects of the Call Accounting implementation, project planning, IVR/ACD/call routing design and implementation, cost management, and new technology implementation. Performs other advanced telecommunications duties including strategic planning. Performs assignments in troubleshooting software and/or hardware problems for voice network based systems and installation. Works with internal customers, vendors, and internal support personnel to achieve maximum network and equipment availability in a critical need 7 X 24 environment. The Project Engineer in this role is responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, and managing onsite construction engineering activities for large, extensive projects in the heavy civil/power construction industry, encompassing grading, clearing, and site development.
