You will also provide matrix supervision to a large group of FieldEngineer personnel in handling all aspects of these businesses in dealing with customers in the power industry.
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Provide advanced process tuning for Boiler or BOP processes.
+ Work with plant operations teams, while at site, to ensure effective tuning of plant processes for optimized productivity of steam and electricity.
+ Develop and implement startup and tuning activities for major retrofit projects.
+ Generate and store tuning reports for all site tuning.
+ Work with stimulation group to startup and tune high fidelity systems for different customer units.
+ Conduct site acceptance and performance testing for major retrofit projects to meet contractual performance targets.
+ Apply highly specialized knowledge and skills in an advisory or technical assistant role to engineering and management teams on complex technical or related problems.
+ Contact customers to review and promote their needs for service, maintenance contracts, system adds, and stand-alone system requirements.
+ Develop and advise the implementation of "engineered system" projects or system adds using current and non-current technologies.
+ Provide project management on large projects during installation, start-up, or where it is required to supervise our subcontractors (such as system installers).
+ Provide recommendations for hiring of FieldEngineers and participate in interviews, performance evaluations, etc.
+ Analyze, investigate, and resolve customer warranty and policy claims. This requires an in-depth knowledge of the obligations and restrictions set forth by warranties and policies so that claims can be settled promptly and efficiently.

+ Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical degree.

+ Strong understanding of control schemes for Boiler and Turbine on conventional and combined cycle plants as well as water treatment and renewable power generating facilities.
+ Demonstrated experience tuning conventional, combined cycle, or renewable plants.
+ Willingness and ability to travel 80% of time, primarily in North America.
+ Capable of displaying a high degree of ingenuity, resourcefulness, and competence in day-to-day technical activities. Recognized as an authority in the industry and have demonstrated competence in related fields.

Reporting to the customer operations manager, the Gasboy FieldEngineer will play a critical role in continuously improving the customer experience. As a key member of the service operations team, you will spend most of your time in the field, supporting end customers and authorized service contractors with new product adoption, project rollouts, training, data collection, testing and onsite service and troubleshooting.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Support the on-site field service activities as the resident expert on Gasboy products to provide the ultimate consumer experience by diagnosing performance related issues, determining root cause, corrective actions, confirming resolution and regularly communicate with all stakeholders on status
+ Make recommendations for the development of effective training resources and troubleshooting guides with the product support specialist team
+ Provide recommendations to the market service manager to add or remove authorized service network providers to ensure best in class field service support for our customers

+ Lead regular scheduled field training sessions with key service partners and distributors in a market for continuing education opportunities and knowledge transfer

+ Act as the communication liaison between internal stakeholders, customers and service contractors regarding on-site findings and resolution
+ Support PSS/Engineering as requested for onsite testing, data collection, and trouble shooting
+ Support ad hoc Service Operation's needs (contract maintenance, projects, FMS, etc.) for site related challenges
+ Utilize technical and analytical skills to support technical assistance center as expert on Gasboy product solutions
+ Maintain compliance with safety standards according to Gilbarco Veeder-Root, Customer and Regulatory policies
**WHO YOU ARE (Qualifications)**
+ Preferred: Associates or bachelor's degree in computer science or networking
+ Preferred: 5 years or more of service in petroleum equipment with manufacturers certifications
+ Preferred: A+ and Linux certified or have the ability to obtain the A+ and Linux certifications within 90 days

JOB OVERVIEW:
The role of Project Engineer will be responsible for collaborating with the project manager and project team with project documentation and control, job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts. To be successful, the candidate should be comfortable taking on a variety of tasks that require different skills and appropriately prioritize their completion.
As a Project Engineer in the Heavy Civil Division, you will be assigned to the island of Kauai. Frequent travel to Kauai for project-related work may also be necessary for candidates residing on other islands.
The types of projects in our Heavy Civil Division continue to shape Hawaii's land and infrastructure. We build the roads and bridges that take us to and from work. We service the utilities that make our homes comfortable.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for detailing using software for field use, including shop drawings for rebar, forming, scaffolding, traffic control, etc.
Review subcontractors' and vendors' shop drawings to ensure conformance with contract drawings and specifications.
Update RFIs electronically into Drawings and Specifications for all design packages.
Assist the project team in coordinating drawings across all disciplines to identify conflicts or clashes. May need to use BIM 360 or Autodesk.
Assist the QC Manager in processing RFIs, submittals, contractor daily reports, QC reports, project photos, QC meeting agendas and meeting minutes, and environmental meeting
agendas and minutes.
Perform other miscellaneous project engineering tasks as needed or assigned.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, or completion of a Construction Management Certificate Program, or equivalent.
Minimum of 6 years of practical construction experience.
Preferred experience in roads, bridges, and infrastructure work.
Basic estimating and scheduling skills.
Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Adobe are helpful.
Ability to plan and organize tasks, and function under pressure or time constraints.

* Conduct the required Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs) to ensure a safe and compliance work environment for all construction personnel. Attend weekly safety meetings with field team and project leadership; present field analysis as needed
* Assist the estimating team with project schedules and provides technical input as needed
* Assist the development of design drawings and provides technical input, as needed
* Coordinate subcontractor work methods, schedule and crews as needed
* Reconcile job close-out checklist with owner representative and field crews at the end of the project
* Maintain knowledge of Company values and strategic plan
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, structural engineering or construction management
* One to Three years of Commercial Construction experience
* Knowledge of structural engineering or heavy highway experience preferred
* Knowledge of scheduling processes and industry best practices preferred
* Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate effectively with others
* Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Proficient skill in verbal and written communication
* Proven self-starter and self-motivated to learn and grow knowledge
* Knowledge of construction scheduling and production time management preferred
