Develop and maintain global consistent colocation design standards to drive equivalent resilience in new and existing data centers.
Support the deployment of new ServerFarm products in colocation data centers in a consistent way, including liquid cooling and high-density racks and systems to support hyperscale requirements for Cloud-compute, Machine Learning and AI services.
Reviews and updates global design standards and generational data center template designs.
Support development and operational engineering teams to review and accept proposed changes to site-specific infrastructure at ServerFarm data centers to validate standards, and to identify and document Accepted Deviations when appropriate.
Work with internal and external global teams to drive consistent standard solutions to expedite review processes and drive cost efficiency.
Set up global strategies to deploy specific customer products or design, and to drive consistency and efficiencies for delivering customer requirements. Functionally decompose complex problems into simple, straight-forward solutions.
Documentation, release and management of design guides, standards, specifications and procedures.
Assist in the career development of others, actively mentoring individuals and the community on advanced technical issues and helping managers guide the career growth of their team members

Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in electrical or closely aligned engineering discipline, or commensurate industry experience or military experience in lieu of degree may be acceptable.
6+ years of electrical non-intern engineering experience in Mission Critical facilities including, but not limited to: data centers, power generation, oil/gas, and other mission critical facilities and/or infrastructure. (Experienced Engineer)
2+ years of experience defining system-level architecture, performance, and equipment requirements, conceptual designs, project documentation and project delivery and hand-off.
Preferred Skills
Chartered or Professional Engineer (PE).
Experiene of working with large global data center providers in multiple regions globally.
Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations in multiple jurisdictions
Ability to develop new concepts through exploration, design, testing and into deployment/mass production.

We're seeking a talented Thermal and Fluids Systems Engineer to join our team at our headquarters in Seattle, where you'll help design and develop the core power cycle for our revolutionary seafloor generators.
The Role
As a Founding Thermal and Fluids Systems Engineer at Endurance, you'll be a key early member of our team, building the power generation cycle at the heart of our subsea geothermal power plants. You will rapidly design, test, and optimize the components of a compact power cycle, playing a pivotal role in bringing this novel energy system from concept to reality. This role focuses primarily on systems engineering and the integration of proven components into robust, field-ready systems, but also requires the flexibility, creativity, and entrepreneurial mindset essential to an early-stage startup. You'll work across multiple technical domains and help shape the foundation of our energy systems as the company scales.
Your first major project will be the design, build, and testing of a 100kWe compact power cycle at our site in Seattle. This full-scale loop will validate the performance and reliability of our core power generation technology in a controlled land-based environment before it is packaged for subsea deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the thermal-fluid design of new power cycle architectures and components including turbines, heat exchangers, pumps, condensers, and piping systems.
Assemble, operate and validate a 100kw scale thermodynamic power cycle test loop
Design and build test rigs for component and system testing.
Carry out detailed analysis and component optimization using numerical simulation tools.
Support the design of other mission critical systems such as geothermal and hydrothermal heat exchangers and deep sea vehicles.
Support business development activities including supplier meetings, technical presentations, and customer interactions
Help establish system engineering and modelling tools, processes, and documentation for future team growth
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or related engineering discipline (preferably with a masters)
3+ years of experience in thermal and fluid systems modeling and/or design.
Experience designing, building, testing, and deploying test rigs for system validation.
Ability to act and execute in a scrappy and entrepreneurial manner
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Skills
Strong background in the design and analysis of thermal-fluid systems
Experience designing turbomachinery -pumps, compressors or turbines.

Stoke's Stage Fluids team is developing a reusable LNG/LOX first stage and reusable LH2/LOX second stage for our launch vehicle, Nova. As a Fluids Engineer, you will be responsible for defining, designing, manufacturing, and testing various fluids systems across the rocket. You will be owner of the entire process for your designs, from early concepting and architecture trades, to creating models in CAD and completing analysis, to procuring parts with suppliers and integrating them onto the vehicle. As part of a small, well-supported team, you will have access to the resources you need to get the job done right while simultaneously boosting your skills at a pace that can't be matched in most other roles. You must be ready to stay focused, move fast, self-direct, and learn on the fly.
Responsibilities
Collect design requirements from multidisciplinary teams, and use these to create concepts for fluids systems
Lead architecture trades for major fluids systems, rapidly transform these decisions into real-life hardware implementations
Develop fluids system concept of operations for ground, flight, and recovery phases of vehicle's life
Perform gas and liquid fluids system sizing analysis (incompressible and compressible flow)
Design and analyze launch vehicle tubing, manifold, and mounting systems, ensure these systems are structurally capable of surviving vehicle load cases. Create CAD models and drawings
Coordinate directly with suppliers to procure parts
Coordinate and execute the manufacturing and integration of fluids systems
Incorporate design for manufacturing best practices into designs to improve production efficiency
Coordinate and execute development and qualification testing of fluids systems
Define and manage the schedule and budget for your fluids systems
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in design, build, and/or testing of rocket fluids systems, rocket engines, and valves
Exceptional command of fundamentals, including compressible flow, thermodynamics, structures, control systems, cryogenics, and instrumentation
Strong knowledge with data analysis and data processing
Extensive experience with CAD tools and configuration management (Siemens NX and Teamcenter preferred)
Proficiency with understanding and maintaining revision-controlled P&ID's
Proficiency with aerospace standard fasteners, seals, tubing, fittings, and commercial off the shelf hardware
Proficiency with instrumentation including pressure transducers, thermocouples, accelerometers, and flow meters
Proficiency with fluid analysis tools (Siemens AMESim, Thermal Desktop, Python, EES, REFPROP, Excel, Matlab, or equivalent)
Proficiency in GD&T, tolerance stackups, and material selection
Hands on experience performing fabrication and assembly of components
