This is a remote position requiring the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The Landscape Field Technician will be responsible for carrying out a range of landscaping tasks and providing support to the Regional Landscape Manager as needed. This position will be be mainly in Sarasota and Lee Counties. We are growing into this area and need qualified people to join our elite team. Summary: As an HSE Field Technician, you will be responsible for supporting field operations by ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. This includes responding to employee concerns, conducting audits, investigating incidents, facilitating safety training, and providing administrative support to field personnel. Responsibilities/Duties: Lead and participate in toolbox and safety meetings; communicate bulletins and key safety messages. Prepare and deliver HSE training on various safety topics. Maintain and update employee HSE records, including incident reports and training files. Investigate and support resolution of incidents, accidents, near misses, and good catches. See, Say, Stop Review and support development of Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and ensure they are effectively implemented. Track and follow through on action items, concerns, and corrective measures. Represent ATS at contractor safety meetings and build relationships with external safety stakeholders. Coach, mentor, and conduct safety evaluations of field personnel. Perform facility inspections and evaluations to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. Support incident notification processes to internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate site evacuations and participate in post-event critiques. Assist with policy development, implementation, and cascading of safety procedures and best practices. Support management in tracking remedial actions to prevent recurrence of safety incidents. Stay up to date with OSHA, PSM, and other applicable HSE regulations and standards. Act as a liaison between field crews and safety management, helping operations fulfill their HSE responsibilities. Provide direction and supervision to other HSE team members, as required. Regularly accompany field crews to better understand job site hazards and conditions. Qualifications Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of industry experience, preferably in heavy industrial or NDE environments. Academic or practical background in Safety and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) is highly desirable. Certification in safety (e.g., CHST, STS, OSHA 30, or equivalent) is strongly preferred. Previous experience in a lead technician or supervisory safety role is an asset. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, including Process Safety Management (PSM). Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills (both verbal and written). Self-starter able to work independently, but also function effectively in a team. Service-oriented mindset with a strong focus on supporting field operations. Physically fit and able to work in adverse conditions and respond to emergency situations. Ability to obtain and maintain HSE credentials required for job-specific training or compliance. Be physically fit for duty. Willing to work at heights and in confined spaces for an externed period of time. 75-80% travel. About the Position Department: Service Reports to: General Manager Supervises: None Purpose The Regional Field Technician independently performs diagnostics and repairs on equipment at customer locations within an assigned territory, using a mobile service vehicle. This role requires a strong work ethic, efficiency, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. As an on-site representative of the dealership, the technician provides reliable service solutions and maintains professional, clear communication with customers to explain the work being performed. This candidate will work remotely, covering Mclean, Sheridan, Wells, and Kidder counties. Responsibilities Perform diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology. Performs diagnostics and repairs in the field as required. Maintains accurate inventory of parts and special tools kept in stock on service vehicle. Identify and communicate solutions for customer service opportunities in area of responsibility. Accountable for billable time and assigned work orders. Responsible for complete and thorough documentation of diagnostics and repairs performed on work orders and on time submittal of information. May participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge. Technical Expertise: Proficient in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in off-road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment; familiar with computer-based diagnostic tools like Service ADVISOR™.
