This hourly role follows the Scotts/Hawthorne step pay progression scale and typically starts at $24.00 per hour and is paid weekly. Scotts/Hawthorne will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.
We're looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator for our mulch and soil manufacturing facility.
The Heavy Equipment Operator prepares organic mixes using a heavy equipment loader, pushes or relocates piles to ensure segregation of materials. Supplies production with a continuous supply of material. Monitors the stock piles for excessive heat, turns stockpiles, extinguishes small fires and ensures the proper amount of water is used to prepare the stockpile for production use.
What you'll do in this role:
* Operate heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. Heavy equipment may include trucks, front-end loaders, dozers, graders, compactors, snowblowers and other pieces of equipment.
* Clean, maintain and secure all equipment as directed by management and company policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For
Relevant experience within a warehouse environment is essential.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Good knowledge of computerized inventory systems, warehouse functions, and MS Office (specifically Excel).
Self-motivated with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Fluent spoken and written English.
Familiarity with delivery documentation and paperwork is a plus.
BSc in Production/Fulfillment or a relevant field is a plus.

A Brief Overview
The Site Operations Staff will assist with the site build including signage install, fencing, site work, etc. Additionally, this position will assist with keeping the grounds safe and clean throughout the festival and fix any issues that may arise.

May liaison with appropriate department or vendor to accomplish installations or retrieve assets and equipment to accomplish tasks.
May assist with ticket and token collection of recreational areas.

Title: Dip Operator

What you'll do...
Communicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g. customers, suppliers, associates).
Ensure freight quality by processing stray and damaged cases; inspecting pallets, shrink wrap, and freight for damage; cutting shrink wrap as needed; and maintaining records, logs, and forms.
Maintain merchandise supply by replenishing pallets of merchandise onto/from racks or docks using warehouse systems or through verbal instructions.
Organize warehouse by using power equipment to remove pallets from pallet returns (e.g., pallet storage, trailers); up-stacking/down-stacking empty pallets; and up-stacking/down-stacking freight.
Manage freight flow by moving, scanning, and handling freight manually and/or with power equipment.
Provide basic maintenance to equipment (e.g., clean, inspect).

Job Overview
As a Power Equipment Operator, you're an essential part of our behind-the-scenes team-keeping things moving so customers get what they need, when they need it. You'll operate powered equipment to handle merchandise safely and efficiently in our furniture, bedding, and fulfillment warehouses. The role includes the operation of various powered industrial trucks and equipment to safely and efficiently move throughout the building. Together, we deliver genuine hospitality.
Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, while part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12-24 hours per week. What You Will Do
Operate Equipment Safely: Use different industrial trucks, including stock pickers and reach trucks at heights up to 40 feet. Navigate narrow aisles using power equipment to pick, pull, put away, stack, and count merchandise to meet standards.
Technology: Input data accurately and efficiently using PCs, handheld computers, radio frequency equipment, or similar devices, while mastering area-specific functions across various systems (including warehouse systems and proprietary systems).
Safety: Safely work in narrow aisles and up to 40 feet high with a harness while moving equipment. Report on equipment failures, damage, accidents, and environmental issues affecting safety to the committee promptly.
Team Collaboration: Must be able to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve goals and maintain a positive work environment. Must be able to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and People Leaders. Must be able to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.

Essential Physical Requirements You Will Perform
Lifting and moving items weighing up to 75lbs.

Random drug testing for all colleagues will be conducted on a monthly or semi-monthly basis, depending upon factors including but not limited to the size of the facility and the number of colleagues on roll. **What you'll do...**
Communicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g. customers, suppliers, associates).
Ensure freight quality by processing stray and damaged cases; inspecting pallets, shrink wrap, and freight for damage; cutting shrink wrap as needed; and maintaining records, logs, and forms.
Maintain merchandise supply by replenishing pallets of merchandise onto/from racks or docks using warehouse systems or through verbal instructions.
Organize warehouse by using power equipment to remove pallets from pallet returns (e.g., pallet storage, trailers); up-stacking/down-stacking empty pallets; and up-stacking/down-stacking freight.
Manage freight flow by moving, scanning, and handling freight manually and/or with power equipment.
Provide basic maintenance to equipment (e.g., clean, inspect).
