Eaton has the largest and most experienced team of field services technicians and engineers in the industry, offering strong initial 3-4 week training and support for a successful career with Eaton. This is a remote position that requires up to 25% travel with company vehicle, mobile phone, laptop and PPE provided.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $93750.03 - $137500.04 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

In this role, you will:
- Support customers across the power system lifecycle: startup, commissioning support, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, upgrades, and emergencies; identify and present additional sales opportunities to customers
- Provide 24/7 on-call availability in field service engineering and technical support for electrical power distribution equipment
- Proficient in power distribution, troubleshooting, test equipment operation communication, policies, software, parts knowledge, and safety precautions
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, service shops, and other organizations
- Possess knowledge of UL, NEMA, and NEC standards.
- Generate timely and accurate service reports on work, product performance, and warranties.
- Manage multiple projects independently
- Mentor less experienced technicians

**Position Success Criteria:**
- Successfully complete and maintain compliance with Eaton's safety program and policy; This includes role-applicable portions of the EESS Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) program and any required annual re-certifications thereafter
- Submit to periodic customer required background and drug screenings
- Must have the ability to work variable hours, including nights & weekends, and travel within the district/state/region/country based on customer requirements.

- Must be able and willing to obtain Department of Transportation (DOT) non-CDL qualification and comply with all DOT regulatory requirements, if required.

- Performs physically demanding tasks, requirement to stand, walk, stoop, squat, kneel, and reach above, to, and below shoulder level, lift, carry, push, pull, and use hands to handle and feel. Frequently required to climb. Regularly required to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds. Occasionally required to push/pull > 50 pounds with assistance. May be required to drive extended distances, work in extreme weather and temperature conditions, work at sites with areas that have poor lighting, ventilation, and dust and/or be exposed to high noise levels.

**Qualifications:**

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent or higher with minimum 5 years of testing, troubleshooting and commissioning power distribution equipment (switchgear, relays, VFDs)

The Field Service Supervisor (FSS) will supervise Field Service Engineers (FSEs) in work assignments, expense control, customer satisfaction, and company policies and procedures. Do you qualify?
BS degree (or equivalent experience) preferred.

Two (2) years of experience in the eye care industry is preferred. Thorough understanding of ophthalmic anatomy and diseases of the eye; CCOA certification, preferred.
Supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
Individual should possess strong business acumen, broad technical knowledge of CZMI instrumentation and/or industry expertise and/or unique technical knowledge that may apply to one or more product lines.
Working Conditions and Special Demands:
Moderate amount of overnight air and ground travel is required. Must be able to travel in the US and internationally for training, meetings, exhibit support and coverage outside assigned territory.
Must be able to obtain sufficient credit to cover incurred business expenses which will be reimbursed upon expense report submission and approval.

As Eos Field Service Site Supervisor, you will play a vital role for Eos' success of our field service execution. You will provide (site) leadership and guidance for commissioning, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and maintaining Eos' Energy storage systems in the field. Both domestically and internationally. You will provide onsite support independently or lead a field service team to accomplish assigned tasks.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of field technicians/engineers to commission large Eos energy systems. As a leader, you will set the tone on the job and is expected to foster a positive work experience for all who work on the team.
Organize and oversee the day-to-day workflow operations.
Support material management activities for all site activities.
Read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures. Provide guidance and direction with respect to the project quality and safety requirements.
Ensure Preventative Maintenance is completed on Eos energy systems, independently or leading teams.
On-site Point of Contact for customers, service partners, etc. Field escalation path for solving complex problems
When required, independently commission and operate Eos energy systems, locally or remote
Mentor field service engineers (FSE) in operating and commissioning Eos energy systems. Mentor field service technicians (FST) in troubleshooting and operating field equipment
Assist in creating or revising system, customer-facing, and internal commissioning documentation
Support Product Engineering for testing of the complete system, including BMS interface.
Evaluate battery performance, including testing of Eos energy systems.
Utilize company-provided Field Service and Work Order Management tools to retrieve and update information timely and accurately.
Write reports, record customers' concerns regarding the functionality and performance of their system and interact directly with the customer.
Develop detailed knowledge of Eos' commercial products and third-party products sold by Eos
Maintain a working knowledge of the NEC (National Electric Code)
Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at Eos's discretion.
Site Supervisor may have extended working hours depending on project needs for planning and coordination.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to work independently as well as leading a team, proactively with no supervision.
Experience implementing quality control standards and assessing safety hazards to ensure job site safety and satisfy OSHA requirements.
Ability to effectively communicate challenges in a forthright and accurate manner.
Ability to effectively manage a small to large team of FSE's/FST's
Excellent Computer skills: Windows, Office, PLC and Networking knowledge
Excellent knowledge of AC/DC Electrical systems and controls.
Excellent use of electrical voltage meters and electrical testing equipment
Expert knowledge of mechanical and electrical schematics
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work productively with other departments.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Excellent knowledge of troubleshooting electrical systems
Constant attention to safety and quality
Medium Voltage/ Substation experience is a plus
Education and Experience
Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field of study required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
7 years' experience in energy storage service and operations required.
Certifications in Forklift/Boomlift/Scissor lift (can be acquired through Eos)
Certification in Construction Safety (OSHA-10) (can be acquired through Eos)

We are searching for highly motivated, mechanically inclined individuals to join our growing Field Service team. In this position, you will play a direct role in completing planned and reactive service operations on our generators. In this position, you will play a key role in maintaining system uptime, availability, and performance for deployed units on customer sites in a specific region. You will train at our headquarters in Menlo Park, CA, and be assigned to a particular service region requiring travel. The base pay range for this position is:

The hourly pay range estimated for this position Sr Engineer, Field Service based in California is $49.58-$74.37.

The Field Service Engineer will conduct startup & commissioning of new equipment on-site at customers. The individual will diagnose and repair Extrusion Auxiliary Equipment including, Screen Changers, Gear Pumps, Valves, Underwater and Water Ring type Pelletizers and polymer Cleaning Ovens. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic disciplines. Strong communication and listening skills are required to interact with customers at multiple levels of employment and management. This field service role primarily supports North America. But also, Central & South America.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Independently travels nationally and internationally as the primary technical representative to the customer.
Interacts with customers to diagnose and resolve extrusion & pelletizing equipment issues and failures.
Trains personnel on the operation and maintenance of Nordson BKG extrusion and pelletizing equipment.
Conducts follow-up calls with customers to assess equipment performance and customer satisfaction.
Completes service reports documenting actions performed, equipment failures, and corrective actions.
Collects and documents customer feedback for equipment performance to facilitate continuous improvement.
Provide feedback to Engineering and Sales on equipment performance.
Collaborates with sales, engineering, manufacturing, and after-market services to develop customer centric solutions.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements
2 year technical degree (or equivalent experience) and at least 2 years maintenance level experience in process controls, plastics extrusion, or related field.
Required Skills and Abilities
Experienced in electrical and mechanical industrial plant applications.
Knowledge of hydraulic theory and application
Hands-on experience in process controls
Strong knowledge of PLC logic, PID's, control integration, AC/DC drives
Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical and hydraulic schematics/prints.
Communicate effectively with customers (plant employees and management), sales and engineering depts.
Demonstrate analytical thinking.
Prioritize multiple tasks.
Work effectively with frequent interruptions
Knowledge of plastics processing (preferred)
Knowledge of rotating equipment (preferred)
Knowledge of filtration equipment (preferred)
