Managing the day-to-day Field Service Department Operations, field service office functions, interfaces with customers, parts department employees, and entire service staff. Communicates company Vision, Mission, Basics, and Philosophy to all employees. Selects and develops the necessary manpower to maintain a functional field service staff in line with overall company policies and forecasts. Assists in the development and supervision of the execution of an annual training program for field technicians. Administers and maintains adequate, neat, and safe offices, shop areas, yards, vehicles, and tools. Provides input on the need for changes to the service department's philosophy, strategy, capital investments, and budgets. Must maintain exceptional customer service standards. Establish and assist in directing workflow. Directs and reviews established paper flow of job quotes, work orders, work in process, job closing routines, customer invoicing, purchase order routines, time cards, expenses, overtime, and OEM programs. Assist in the development of rebuild practices, parts reusability practices, flat total programs, sales promotion programs, and general repair level guidelines.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:


High School Diploma. Prior industry knowledge of the products along with a technical background of the products sold and serviced.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and have a teamwork ethic. The preferred candidate will have supervisory experience as well as knowledge of servicing diesel engines and generators.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
:

Construction/Installation to include but not limited to the processes and services for rigging, setting, wiring, plumbing, and installation of automated finishing equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities

Manage onsite/offsite safety standards and hazards per mandated site protocols/security Complete daily safety audit, risk assessment and reporting Prepare and file daily reports/pictures/documentation of overall site installation Oversee day to day activities on-site and in the field Manage client's expectations, project field employees/sub-contractors/vendors Manage project according to schedule to ensure we meet client's expectations Perform installation of equipment, including, but not limited to uncrating; assembling; setting or lifting products into place; leveling; connecting utilities; and testing systems Inspect Bill of Materials [BOM] to ensure accuracy of field deliveries cross-referenced with associated and supplied drawings Devise and implement completion strategy, action lists and plans Ensure compliance with our company and client's company or government regulations Keep accurate records of attendance and timesheets Provide positive direction to motivate quality performance Schedule and track assignments Communicate opportunities to the Project Manager to capture change orders Record and communicate contractual critical path issues to ensure timely execution daily to PM Secure local material to complete project if required Maintains workflow and ensures availability of proper material, tools & equipment Interacts with project management, manufacturing & engineering to resolve problems that interferes with installation of equipment and productivity
