The job is responsible for providing on-site client installation, repairs, and maintenance of their equipment.

The Field Services Technician role is an in-office position in San Francisco, CA. This team that provides onsite technology support for clients in the San Francisco metro area and Seattle. The team supports desktops/laptops/VDI, voice and network, tech/comm room management, as well as specific applications for the Citi business teams located at the site. This candidate needs to be well rounded and confident in various end user technologies, but also needs to be comfortable in leveraging their technology partners across the company as required.
Responsibilities:

Create complex project plans, perform impact analyses, solve/work high impact problems/projects, and provide resolution to restore services Provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) post restoration of service Design testing approaches, complex processes, reporting streams, and assist with the automation of repetitive tasks Provide technical/strategic direction to team members Review requirement documents, define hardware requirements and update processes and procedures as necessary Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements Responsible for applications dealing with the overall operating system Conduct project related research Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members. Qualifications:


6-10 years of experience in roles centered around infrastructure delivery (application hosting and/or end user services) with a proven track record of operational process change and improvement Understanding of how specialization within area contributes to the business and of competitors' products and services Ability to develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities and best practices Ability to work with virtual / in-person teams, and work under pressure / to a deadline Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred Effective written and verbal communication skills Effective analytic/diagnostic skills Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience

***Baltimore/ Ellicott City MD***As a Field Service Technician, your primary responsibilities include providing great customer service while installing, diagnosing and solving retail equipment failures within service level agreements at CVS locations in a service geography. This equipment includes POS (point of sale) registers, self checkout registers, thermal printers, laser printers, scanners, servers, PCs, thin clients, phone systems, RF, networking, pharmacy, minute clinic, photo and other related computer peripherals. You will be responsible for driving between CVS locations in a large geography to service and install hardware, assisting other neighboring areas with workload, working normal day shift, on call for weekday evenings onsite high severity service calls and rotating weekend and holiday coverage for onsite high severity service calls. The normal shift scheduling for this position is Monday- Friday with on-call nightly, weekends & holidays on on-call rotation. Under rare and special circumstances, for specific tasks deemed necessary by the area manager, a temporary schedule change will have you working either Saturday and/or Sunday as normal workdays with weekdays as scheduled days off.To succeed at this position you need:• Strong Customer Service skills• Ability to pass a substance/drug test and background test• Ability to drive between CVS locations in a large geographic area on daily basis• Ability to troubleshoot hardware• Reside in the territory supported• Ability to lift laser printers, servers, heavy equipment 75lbs and occasionally work on a ladder

The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum: 18.50

Maximum: 33.65
