Position Title Computer Solutions Technician III FLSA Non-Exempt FT/PT Full Time Hours Per Week 37.5 Work Schedule M-F 8:30-5 Grade 11 Compensation Range $48,555 Summary
Create and implement computing solutions for individual users, workgroups and college classrooms. This includes telephones, printers, laptops, tablets, cell phones, and other peripheral equipment. Research new applications and solutions to ensure secure computing at the endpoints. Install new hardware and software. Diagnose and correct technology problems in faculty and staff areas, remote laptops, classrooms, event setup, AV equipment, and conference rooms. Repair equipment and resolve software problems. Maintain network connectivity for all office, classroom and remote equipment. Create and update images and software deployments. Assist as necessary both the Network and Server Groups. Act as the on campus subject matter expert for the college's telecommunications equipment and services, classroom and remote systems. Assist with the technical aspect for EOP functions.
Essential Role Responsibilities
* Support faculty, staff, and students in the use of computing equipment and software.
* Support faculty and staff with mobile device wireless configurations and cellphone activation/setup.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose technology problems including computers, printers, software and phones.
* Coordinate repair, installation or replacement of equipment and software.
* Maintain parts, equipment, and software inventory.
* Evaluate, recommend and test technology equipment and software.
* Maintain the college's public address system.
* Assist with the EOP college-wide notification systems.
* Deploy system images using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) and Microsoft Configuration Manager.
* Deploy software using end point management solutions.
* Deploy, manage and configure printer settings utilizing a printer server management tool.
* Manage administrator right escalation using privilege management tools.
* Diagnose and assist in resolving network connectivity problems including telephone and data cabling throughout the college campus.
* Update accounts and permissions in an Active Directory environment.
* Manage Tripwire servers for Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance - perform health checks, review changes, backup databases as needed.
* Provide support for HCC's labs including dental (HIPAA), cyber security, nursing, Allied Health, and esports.
* Remediate software vulnerabilities.
* Manage various contractors as needed.
* Develop and provide training for staff, faculty, students.
* Coordinate work for part-time interns and volunteers.
* Account for all core work in an ITSM ticketing platform, including status, resolution and time worked.
* Document, maintain and improve processes and procedures.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education Required Associate's degree Experience Required 1 Preferred Experience
* Associate's degree in CS or related program and 1 year of experience in a technical computer field required or Microsoft certification/training with 3 years of direct experience in the field or an approved combination of education, training, and experience.
* CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications are recommended.
* Detailed functional knowledge of current Microsoft Windows and Apple operating systems and applications.
* Detailed functional knowledge of imaging software.
* Detailed functional knowledge of endpoint management tools such as MS configuration manager, JAMF, Intune.
* Detailed functional knowledge of enterprise technology equipment.
* Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
* Working knowledge of networking protocols including IP, DNS and DHCP.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.
* Knowledge of hand tools and electrical safety procedures.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Regular attendance is a requirement of this job.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Repair and perform preventative maintenance on marketing equipment
* Unload and reload with products as necessary
* Repair and maintain sealed refrigeration systems
* Complete all refrigerant documentation in accordance with EPA regulations
* Educate customers on basic equipment repair and upkeep procedures
* Install equipment by making holes and route lines to connect products to dispensing unit, connecting water and gas supply and finding drains for units with ice. For box syrup, build racks and connect lines
* Fill installed equipment and adjust to proper mixture
* Drive to location, evaluate situation and perform necessary work (may include plumbing, electricity, refrigeration, carpentry)
* Collect accurate and complete equipment and customer information
* Remove old parts and replace with new parts
* Maintain parts inventory on service truck
* Establish positive relationship with contacts at service calls
* After each call, complete documentation on e-pad
* Transport miscellaneous items (e.g., compressors for repair/scrap, cardboard for recycle, etc.)
* Follow all safety requirements, regulations, and processes
* Follow all driving rules and regulations when operating company vehicle

OPPORTUNITY SUMMARY
The Field Service Engineer (Audio-Visual Systems) would be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various types of audiovisual, videoconferencing and IT related systems. Thinking independently and working within the specified guidelines with minimal supervision, the FSE will effectively interact with employees, customers, and colleagues, demonstrating the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks and projects. The FSE will visit clients on a daily basis in the Washington DC/Maryland/Virginia area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provide technical support of audiovisual, videoconferencing, and IT systems
Diagnose audiovisual, videoconferencing, and IT related system problems Proactively manage and resolve system auto-generated Service Tickets
Repair audiovisual, videoconferencing, and IT related systems when possible including re-terminating various cables Provide remote end-user and concierge AV & IT system support
Configure and program equipment for a various applications
Interface with manufacturer's to identify and resolve issues
Make recommendations as to whether it is better to repair or replace a defective product
Effectively communicate and document activities such as keeping records up to date and entering accurate time sheet information
Deliver technical training and guidance to clients as well as Cenero personnel
Provide professional customer service including rapidly building technical credibility with clients via superior knowledge and service
Professionally represent Cenero with Senior-level clients showing empathy, patience, and competence
Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to peers, clients, and management
Coordinate required activities with subcontractors, manufacturers, and Cenero personnel through the required management chain
Respond to notifications in a timely manner
Perform the duties of a Technical Service Engineer (TSE) when not dispatched in the field
Answer customer requests (phone, email and video) and document this activity in Cenero's database
Produce accurate and timely service quotes using Cenero's tools and formulas
Keep digital records up to date (i.e. service tickets, documentation)
Maintain a positive work attitude, strong work ethic, and embrace a team centric environment
Other responsibilities as necessary or assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from a four-year college or university in an appropriate field or equivalent on-the-job experience
At least two years of audio-visual systems or related experience and/or training (Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS)
Knowledge of various types of audiovisual and related systems including switchers, projectors, Blu-ray players, displays, digital signage, microphones, speakers, etc.
General Knowledge of ISDN T1/E1, Ethernet and H.320, H.323 and SIP protocols
General knowledge of TCP/IP networking, switches, routers, firewalls and AV over IP
General knowledge of computers (Windows based) and office software
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently or part of a team
Strong time management, prioritization and both analytical and diagnostic skills are required
Must possess exceptional written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
Valid Driver's License with minimum of 3 years clean driving record
Audiovisual installation is preferred
Applicable manufacturer trainings and certifications are preferred

Enterprise Information Display System (E-IDS) is a new system under development that will provide a modern auxiliary information display to Air Traffic Controllers in the National Airspace System (NAS). E-IDS will consolidate several legacy IDS systems into a common platform to provide controllers with current and consistent information needed to perform air traffic operations from both local and enterprise sources. E-IDS will use a common hardware and software platform across over 400 NAS facilities, including En Route, Terminal, Tower, and Offshore domains.

We are seeking experienced and highly motivated **Field Service Technicians** to support the deployment and site acceptance testing of mission-critical systems in Air Traffic Operations environments. This role involves conducting detailed site surveys, conducting site preparation (including installing equipment racks, and mounting Air Traffic Controller position equipment), and performing system turn-up and acceptance testing. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a proactive mindset, and the flexibility to travel extensively across various locations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Conduct on-site surveys to evaluate and document site conditions and installation requirements.

+ Comfortable working in secure or restricted-access environments such as Air Traffic Control Towers (ATCT). Terminal Radar Approach Controls (TRACONS), Air Route Traffic Control Centers (ARTCC).
+ Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Must be able to travel a minimum of 60%, including overnight stays.

This part-time position plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient video replay operations using DVSport software. Responsibilities:
* Operate the DVSport Replay system during all home basketball games;
* Tag and catalog plays in real-time for potential review by game officials;

What do our Crawl Space Techs do?
Check and double check work order and load truck with all supplies needed Set up ladders, tarps, hose, drills were needed at the job-site. Hook up insulation machine to a power source, operate and load machine with insulation for the duration of the job. Check equipment for proper cleanliness, operation, and necessary repairs Clean up tarps and vacuum up any debris left behind. Manage and track tools and equipment as you reload the truck at the days end. Sweep up any debris outside the house that we may have caused. Check in with homeowner for their satisfaction on clean up. Travel throughout region including some overnight travel may be required. Will be cross-trained in other areas of pest control.

* TAP Insulation Installation: Efficiently install Thermal Acoustical Pest Control (TAP) insulation, ensuring quality service and customer satisfaction while managing job-site preparations and clean-up
* Construction and Repair: Assist with light construction projects, including minor repairs and replacements related to pest damage
* Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to explain services, ensure satisfaction, and provide guidance on pest control measures
* Service Delivery: Perform exclusion services and wildlife removal, setting up and building exclusion traps, and ensuring safety protocols are followed
