POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out daily operations and maintenance tasks to maintain necessary gas flow and meet all regulatory requirements of a Natural Gas Compressor Station and Pipeline. This position will be required to operate the compressor station on a rotating basis. The incumbent will be expected to respond to callouts during assigned week of Operating duties and in addition will periodically be part of the On-Call rotation for the area and respond to emergency or abnormal situations. Duties include all assigned responsibilities in the handling of natural gas as related to reciprocating compression equipment, pipeline, and all related subsystems at the company's Hardinsburg, KY work location. Successful candidate will perform all assigned construction duties, as well as, preventative pipeline maintenance and operations related to meter stations, corrosion control, and right-of-way maintenance. Manage facility encroachment activities including pipe location, excavation, and inspection. Successful candidate will be required to acquire Operator Qualification tasks and ECP skills necessary for job performance. May occasionally be required to assist at other work locations.
Successful candidate must reside within 30 miles of the Hardinsburg, KY Compressor Station.
Normal work hours are 6:00 am- 2:30 pm weekdays; however, position is subject to occasional callouts and schedule adjustments as necessary.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
Individual must have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of personnel; as well as strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a strong ability for prioritizing and scheduling multiple projects. This individual should also have experience with Microsoft programs as well as, the ability to read, comprehend and follow Company procedures and manufacturer's guidelines.
Physical requirements of the role include the ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. for a minimum of 50 feet to transfer tools and equipment, the ability to operate valve control wheels with a minimum of 50 turns, and the ability to work alone as required in extreme weather conditions e.g. Hot, cold, muddy, and wet environments.• Valid Driver's license is required.

Annual Pay Range: $68,000 - $86,000

Essential Duties
Provide HDPE Piping solutions to customers via plastic pipe welding and fusion services
Troubleshoot simple machine issues (hydraulic/mechanical/electrical) with help of extensive support team to maximize productivity while on job site
Apply principals of plastic welding and experience to complex requirements
Communicate with customer on job site and act as a liaison with sales person
Adhere to safety requirements while on site, training, traveling, and fabricating in yards
Continually increase skills and experience through training and on-the-job instruction
Provide in-person training and certification to customers
Assist with fabrication and/or shipping needs at local plant when field work is not available
Perform other related duties as assigned
Base Qualifications and Competencies
This is a safety-sensitive position and is subject to pre-employment, pre-job, and post-incident drug and/or alcohol testing
ISCO/McElroy fusion training and testing, manufacturers' electro-fusion certification, First Aid and MSHA safety training certifications are all offered as part of the training.
Facilitate knowledge and use of hand tools
Ability to solve practical problems and interpret technical instructions in mathematical and diagram form
Proficient with technology (will utilize email and iPhone apps heavily on the job)
High School Diploma/GED and valid driver's license required

Prefer Diesel Program Technical School completion and minimum 2+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to obtain DOT Med Card
Certifications / Licenses
Valid State Driver's License required
CDL is preferred
