ARM Group LLC is seeking a FieldTechnician, who will collaborate with a team of multi-disciplined engineers and scientists, project managers, and other staff to provide a wide range of field based geophysical data collection services during the design, study, implementation, and/or construction phases of projects related to environmental cleanup, water resources, mine & quarry, geotechnical, and natural gas.
Primary Responsibilities:
Participate in geophysical field investigations.
Operate borehole geophysical equipment to collect well logging and imaging data.
Collect surface geophysical data using EM31, EM61, magnetometer, seismic, electrical resistivity imaging, ground penetrating radar (GPR), radio detection utility locating tools, and gravity.
Download data loggers and equipment; verify field data.
Operate differential global positioning system (GPS) equipment.
Prepare daily field reports and test summaries documenting the work being performed.
Collaborate with other team members to meet deliverables on projects and obtain further knowledge and experiences.
Effectively communicate with key stakeholders including project managers, project engineers, and other members of the project team.

Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.

Your work won't stop in the field. You'll also install controls and wiring for PD blower systems at our facility, applying your electromechanical expertise across the full equipment lifecycle. If you already bring PD blower experience, you'll hit the ground running. If not, you bring a strong foundation in rotating equipment, motor and electrical troubleshooting, alignment, system-level diagnostics, and reading schematics and P&IDs-and the drive to master the rest. This is a role for someone who enjoys solving real-world problems, working independently, and making a visible impact every day.
Responsibilities:
* Install, commission, and start up positive displacement (PD) blower packages, vacuum/pressure systems, and associated rotating equipment per OEM specifications and site requirements.
* Configure, program, and troubleshoot variable frequency drives (VFDs) and soft starters (parameter setup, PID loops, accel/decel profiles, motor protection, fieldbus/communication interfaces such as Modbus/TCP, EtherNet/IP).
* Diagnose and repair electrical controls including relays, contactors, motor starters, overloads, interlocks, safety circuits, and control transformers.
* Perform control panel wiring and field terminations (24 VDC control, 120/480 VAC power, grounding/bonding, signal wiring, shielded cable practices); read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
* Install and integrate instrumentation (pressure, temperature, vibration, flow, differential pressure transmitters, proximity sensors, limit switches) and calibrate as required.
* Execute mechanical service tasks (coupling alignment-laser or dial, belt tensioning, blower timing, bearing replacement, seal changes, lubrication, fastener torque verification).
* Conduct vibration and performance checks; identify root cause of abnormal noise, heat, vibration, or amperage draw (airflow restrictions, leaks, misalignment, cavitation, resonance).
* Troubleshoot system issues end-to-end across electrical, mechanical, and controls, including motor diagnostics (insulation resistance, megger testing, continuity), VFD/motor matching, and load-related faults.
* Perform field measurements and documentation (voltage/current, phase balance, harmonics, airflow/pressure, vibration readings) and produce detailed service reports with parts lists and recommended follow-up.

* 5+ years of relevant / equivalent technical experience: millwright, maintenance, engineering, fieldservice.

POSITION SUMMARY

• Perform equipment startups for process gas projects. Duration can be 1 to 4 weeks or more, often in multiple trips. Startup responsibility includes ensuring equipment is properly installed (checking alignment, wiring, etc.) prior to starting, ensuring all subsystems are functioning properly, verifying operating data (pressures, temperatures, flows, vibrations, etc.), making necessary adjustments in the system to correct any performance issues, checking other system factors (for example, pipe vibrations), and other steps on a job-specific basis to obtain customer acceptance/signoff.
• If needed, visit the job site prior to startup to ensure customer readiness and proper installation.
• If needed, remain on the job site after startup for an agreed-upon run-in period.
• Keep meticulous records in the form of detailed daily reports, records of operating data, photos, and other details about the customer site, machine performance, customer discussions, etc.
• Manage existing installations by keeping in contact with job sites and conducting site visits and audits as needed. Provide sales opportunities via continuous contact with customer sites (new orders, replacement equipment, spare parts, and service).
• Interact professionally with Aerzen project management, engineering, production, and customer support personnel to provide feedback and knowledge regarding specific customers and orders. Specifically, communicating and implementing lessons learned from job site visits is a critical part of this role.
• Travel to Germany and possibly Hungary for training on machine assembly, testing, repair, and operation.
• Receive AND give training from/to internal Aerzen colleagues on machine assembly, testing, repair, and operation, as well as training on general system design and components such as seals, bearings, control valves, instruments, etc.
• When not traveling, support the Process Gas team with engineering, participation in design reviews, reviewing documents and data, assisting with incoming inspections, assisting with oversight of shop assembly work and testing, providing insight on questions, concerns, and issues, assisting with equipment specifications, and other needs that are in line with expertise.

The Maintenance Electromechanical Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing manufacturing equipment, property, and facilities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. This role plays a key part in minimizing downtime, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring all maintenance activities comply with company safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and building systems according to established schedules and SOPs.
· Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues; perform corrective repairs and recommend long-term solutions.
· Conduct inspections and document results and work orders in the Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
· Collaborate with production and engineering teams to coordinate repairs and minimize operational disruptions.
· Safely operate company tools and vehicles, including forklifts, telehandlers, and lifts.
· Support installation, fabrication, and modification of new or existing equipment, including welding and pipefitting.
· Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and inventory of spare parts and tools.
· Participate in training, safety programs, and continuous skill development to stay current with new technologies and maintenance practices.
· Install, calibrate, and maintain electro-mechanical systems, including motors, drives, sensors, and control units.
· Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in automated equipment.

· Work with PLCs to troubleshoot or reset automation systems.
· Use measurement and diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, calipers).
