We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Soldering Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and soldering electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) in accordance with technical drawings, assembly instructions, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform hand soldering of through-hole and surface mount components (SMT) on PCBs.
Inspect solder joints to ensure compliance with IPC standards.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and assembly drawings.
Operate soldering equipment, rework stations, and microscopes.
Perform touch-up, rework, and repair on PCBs as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S practices.
Document production and quality control data as required.
Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to resolve assembly issues.
Ensure adherence to safety and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protocols.
Perform small assembly work.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.
1-3 years of experience in soldering electronic components.
Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards (certification is a plus).
Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Familiarity with SMT and through-hole technology.
Ability to use basic inspection tools (e.g., magnifiers, microscopes).

Perform preventative maintenance visits to help maintain a stable client-based system
